What I was actually looking for was a delay start on return of power to start/restart an air conditioner when powered by a back up generator. The delay is needed to keep from overloading the generator. I had to disable the high temperature cutoff to get it to work. There are devices available for very heavy duty service, but they are expensive and have to be hardwired into usually a power distribution box. Titan makes a lot of electric controls and I have suggested to them to have the maker of this device, make one without the hi temp cutoff and a timer delay that goes 0-5 minutes instead of 0-30 minutes. But, it is working for my purpose.

Just tried it out and does not shut off after high temp was reached

Yes it will make sure the temp doesn't go to high but it doesn't turn back on

This saved my plants twice so far. An inline fan went out and the heat went up to 90 degrees prompting the shut off. This is a must in a grow room!

So far so good. Cheaper, better quality and more features than the C.A.P. H-3? whatever its called. I love it & wouldn't run an H.I.D. w/out one. Peace of mind is priceless.

This works very well. It is a nice level of protection I hope I never need.
