I used this to replace my KitchenAid sensor (item: W10193666). It works great! Easy to install and the price is outstanding. I had looked at the original replacement part prices which were well over $300, so under $30 is a huge bargain and the fact that it is easy to replace is just icing on the cake.

Replaced the control units in KitchenAid freezer/Icemaker. Works like new. Easy peasy.

My Whirlpool I/M would make 1 drop of ice and quit. Watched a You Tube video and determined it was my ice bucket ice sensor. Checked Whirlpool parts they were crazy high in pricing over $125.00. Another parts house on line was also too high priced about $85.00. This part order contains a 2 EXACT replacement electronic circuit boards for my Whirlpool Refrig with the I/M dispenser on the door. Two circuit boards one on each side wall of the inside of the freezer compartment. Easy install take your time, and most of all wear Nitrile or latex gloves when handing the electronic boards when opening the package and installing the boards. Static electricity will short circuit the boards. Unplug refrig, be careful unplugging wire clip from circuit board easy takes about 30 min to complete from start to finish. Good Luck. Tracked down the instructions in YouTube and ordered this product from AMZ. My local appliance shop wanted over $400 for the parts (total)... Whirlpool has the parts on their website at over $500 EACH!. I was skeptical but for less than $30 I took a chance. Install was completed in less then 20minutes. Ice was back to being made within the next hour or so. VERY pleased I saved big $ on the parts and on what would have been well over $100 for a service call. LOVE DIY!

Works like a champ!

I received and installed this optical sensor on 6/11/19, It worked fine during that time.However, on 8/18/19 (9.5 weeks) it stopped working and now the LED won't come on at all.I've ordered a different optical replacement kit (green PC board vs. brown PC board ). Although the replacement kit is sold by a number of vendors, my guess is that the kits are built by one of two manufacturers.Update: KONDUONE does have great customer service and sent me a replacement kit free of charge. It arrived today, 8/27/19. Hopefully, the boards in the second replacement kit will last longer than the first set did!

I am still proud of my success in repairing the ice machine ! Every time I go over to fill my glass with Ice I marvel at how much Ice it now makes. The Fridge came with the house I purchased back in October of 2019 and at that time it was making ice ok.... I didn't notice any problems but slowly the ice production began to slow and finally it unit would jam up. Going through several YouTube videos I decided to replace the boards first and hope for the best.The Ice machine now is a beast...... knocking out cubes twice an hour when empty. Thank You !!!! The Boards came with documentation, be sure to disconnect the power from the wall and before you remove the board plugs from the socket take a picture with you phone so you can use the photo as reference if you get confused how the plug should be attached to the prongs. Also be sure to replace both boards one located on each side.Killer job nice work on the boards clean solder points. I expect these boards to last a lifetime.
