After a number of hours of evaluating other watches I was hopeful for this one, but what I got blew away my expectations.My requirements: I was looking for low maintenence (stainless steel, and at least a mineral crystal - a sapphire crystal would have been ideal but I have to manage my expectations in my price range, and while we're on that I was hoping to stay inside a <=US$120 price), self-winding (automatic - non-battery), waterproof (screw-in crown), a band that I am capable of adjusting myself, and an accuracy capable of maintaining a reasonable time (plus or minus a minute) for multiple days. I also wanted a watch with a "masculine, rugged but professional" look - a subjective thing.My research: I have a quartz watch that retails for >$400, and it keeps time to within a second. I have to give that level of accuracy up for a self-winding watch in my price range. It turns out that non-quartz, non-battery, self-winding mechanical watches that are not in the "ridiculous" price range, typically have guaranteed accuracies in the -20 to +40 seconds per day (temperature dependent), with individual watches often bettering that number but not guaranteed to do so. I would prefer better accuracy, but I was willing to compromise to that level (worst-case) in order to get everything else at a lower price.I found a lot of inexpensive watches that met most of the criteria, but not all (especially not the self-winding requirement). I found a few watches that met all the criteria, but the cheapest of them was $200+, if not several times that. Then I found this watch and it seemed almost too good to be true. The reviews were largely optimistic so I decided to take a risk and ordered it.What I found with this watch:Very attractive packaging: supremely suitable for giftingAssembly location: MalaysiaPower: self-winding, allegedly 41 hour power reserve (I haven't tested that yet)Movement: Seiko NH35A Japanese movement with 24 jewels, beats at 21,600 bph (6 beats per second), includes hacking (ability to stop and adjust the second hand independent of the minute/hour hands), hand-windable, and impossible to over-windConstruction: stainless steel, diver's watch with screw-in crown (rated as water-resistant at 200m), self-adjustable metal band with a safety claspLook and feel: It has that subjective "masculine rugged but professional" lookWeight: (less one link) 140.33 gramsSize: 32 mm crystal, 42 mm bezel ring, 13.9 mm thick (15 mm to the top of the date bezel)Features: Luminous hands and dial hours, sweep second hand, date (but not day or month), easy to adjustMy immediate experience: I opened the box, pulled it out (hands were already moving as I pulled it out), removed the crystal protection films, adjusted the time and date on the watch, did a manual wind, and immediately wore it for a day. The band was too loose so I pulled the micro-adjustment in on the closure as far as it would go, and that helped, but it was still able to rotate on my wrist, so on the second day I removed a link from the band, which went fairly quickly and well, and gave me the tightness that I was looking for without being overly tight. I appreciate that I can make major and minor adjustments on the band without needing to take it to a jeweler.What level of accuracy did I get? On my first two consecutive days it was 6 seconds fast each day. Better than guaranteed by the movement, and better than expected, so I'm very happy with that.What did I not get? Everything that was promised was delivered. However, since I brought it up, for the price I did not get a sapphire crystal (but of course it does not come with that). My only real quibble is with the nighttime luminosity - I found that the luminous hands and dial markers are rather dim; yes, they are there and usable, but they are difficult to see until your eyes adapt to the darkness.

Looks great. But what does one expect for automatic under $100.Well I’m impressed. You should buy as this is a great item for such little money. Water test next

So, I have a lot to say and only write reviews when a product really rubs me the right way, 100%.So, here we go : Excellent watch! Love the colorway, movement and pretty much everything about the watch. Feels great on and has micro adjustment options on the jubilee bracelet. Beautiful watch. My only criticism is that the edges on the inner lug edges are a bit sharp where they meet the solid end link and the finish on the top of the lugs could afford to be finished more smoothly. Not terrible, but an improvement could afford to be made in that respect. The bezel can be a bit hard to turn at times if you don't have the right grab on it, but it is solid and sound when it does turn. No back play on mine and lined right up on the money as well. That part is not a criticism, but just something I found, could just be me though, who knows. Now, don't get me wrong, I absolutely love the watch! And I would and likely will buy another in the future just to have an extra, but just giving some constructive criticism regarding the lugs. Overall, don't hesitate to pick one up if you like a crisp, clean looking watch that has some life to it, is pretty hefty and is well made. At 42mm and a nice chunky case to boot, it feels great wearing it if you like to know you're wearing your timepiece when you wear it. Now, mine came with the rotor that did not include the yellow signature sticker, but it still looks nice and clean looking at the exhibition window. The movement and exhibition feature is still a nice one, sticker or not. And no doubt, it is a true Invicta. My thoughts are that some of the more recently produced/manufactured models are just kind of hit or miss with that, but I don't mind. If you worry it is a fake, please don't. It's a real one. Bang for buck is spectacular. Get one while you can. I wanted to be able to sport mine immediately, and with spring time coming soon it will just mix well with a nice, sunny day. It seems Invicta must be having a hard time keeping up with the demand for this one, among many others they produce. I ordered mine when it was out of stock here on Amazon and was so happy that they restocked pretty quickly. Just get one (at least) and enjoy it. That's what it's about. Trust me, it's well worth the purchase. Wear it with pride, take time to enjoy the watch and life, and all the best!

I know there are a ton of reviews and Youtube videos that you can check out about Invicta and if you are interested in getting this watch you should for sure check them out so you know what you are getting. But here some things that are worth mentioning.This is the third Pro Diver I have owned. The other two I had for a while and then sold them on Ebay to purchase something different. I have never had any issues with the QC problems that you sometimes hear about. All of my watches have functioned correctly and kept resonable good time. This watch currently runs about +/- 5 seconds a day for me which is better than some of my more expensive watches.The other two watches were the 40 mm version. This is the slightly larger 42mm and it still wears nicely on my wrist. I really like the green accents and especially love the green second hand. It really makes the watch pop.My two complaints about the watch will probably always be the same as it was my issue with last two that I owned. I really hate that it says INVICTA on the 9 oclock side of the watch. I really think its a bad bit of branding and wish it would just go away. The watch also has little to know lume. It faintly glows. That being said, it's a $100 automatic watch. What should expect?It's a really nice option considering the price.
