The labels are good for how they're advertised. If you're making custom length cables, these will work but if you already have bought pre-sized cables, it's tough to get the sleeve to go over the RJ45 connectors (at least that's what the issue is in my case). Besides that, I didn't have any issues with the heat shrink.

I have used these to label several animal cages in my classroom and all have worked very well. I have even been able to pull them off fairly easily and reattach them to another cage when I move an animal. Much cheaper than the name brand and has done the job for me.

Especially compared to the price of the Brother tapes

I've only used it by printing perpendicularly (across the 1 inch height of the label tape) then wrapping the label tape around a cable (such as TV coax or Ethernet) so that the label's adhesive side is sticking to the label's printed side (ending up with a 1 inch wide tube shaped label). It sticks very well and has yet to come apart (though I don't know how well it will stay stuck under high heat). But, so far so good. Much better than the other off-brand that wouldn't stay stuck to anything.I've not tried making a "tag" type of label (sticking both adhesive sides together). Nor have I tried wrapping the label diagonally like a candy cane.

These printer cartridges work the print on them is dark, but the material is not the same quality as the brother material
