Very nice and well made dog door. Heavy duty aluminum and flap. All screws were metal, no plastic ones. Highly recommend!

It’s fallen apart twice almost immediately after install. The warranty only covered one. I recommend buying another brand. I hope to find another brand with exact dimensions.

Well built, would buy again

It has been working well with minor modifications so far. The spacers that go inside the wall between the two plates are not thick enough. If your using it for something other than a door or some sort of thin interior wall you will end up making your own plates to hide the insulation/framing. If you are using it on an exterior wall and there is a stiff breeze it will not stay shut. I ended up buying two kits and installing the door halves on the inner and outer wall and it stops 90% of the draft and the doors will actually settle and magnetize to the base.

I was somewhat surprised how small this large dog door is. It states it would fit a 100lb dog but i’m not so sure. I have a 55lb BMC and a 65 lb lab mix. If they were much larger there is no way they would fit. We had to raise it up off the floor height so they wouldn’t hit their heads

To start with the supplied bolts are too soft (so the user can cut to size I suppose) and the heads strip easily. Why didn't they included hardened bolts of common door sizes? Cheap. The real problem comes mounting the flap to the door. Very dorky engineering. Cheap. Very difficult to tighten after adjustment. Very difficult. Very difficult. I would rate this zero stars if I could. I would return it but I already have a hole cut in the door. POS. Worst product I have ever received from Amazon.

I'm not really happy with this door right now. For about a month it was fine, then one of the two screws that hold the flap door in came out enough to let go of the flap on one side. The screw was still there, and the other side is still hanging on. And I'll screw it back in. And it'll last for a day or two and come undone again. When that happens, like now, there's a pretty intense cold front coming through and it's really cold when that doggie door isn't shut off.
