Great product! Removes makeup, smooths uneven bumpy skin over time, exfoliates skin, and it's gentle on sensitive skin even if you use it twice a day! It's pricey but worth it for the results in my opinion I was glad to get it with a 20% off coupon.

I started using this cleanser in my late 20's when all of a sudden my face started breaking out in huge acne type boils! It was awful! I never had acne as a teen. I went to a dermatologist after trying every OTC product recommended to me. Even the dermatologist couldn't help me. One night I saw an infomercial for this 4 piece acne kit by Serious Skin Care, their first products. I thought, I've tried everything else, I have nothing to lose. It cleared up my face in no time at all! When I was 39, I got a part time job at the Estee Lauder counter and had all these beauty products available for free. I thought surely I've outgrown the acne stage by now. I started using the Estee Lauder products and nothing happened so I got rid of all my SSC products. Shortly afterwards, my face started breaking out in those huge boil like acne things again! I had to reorder all my SSC items! The ladies at the counter said, what happened to your face? It didn't look like that when you started! They've done away with 2 of the items in the kit and just got notice they're doing away with a third one (so I stocked up!) but I hope they never get rid of this cleanser!! I just turned 60 and I'm still religiously using it!

This cleaner far beats other brands of glycolic acid cleansers. For the most part, serious brand items are very good, my go to items, always!!

The GLYCOLIC CLENSER from SSS (Serious Skin Care) is one of the original products for acne treatment they launched on HSN. I have been using it ever since. It's purpose is to exfoliate and remove the dead cells on your face/body. The way I have used it for years is in the shower, with the face damp. I take a small amount (~dime size) and spread it all over the face avoiding the eyes and lips (remember, this is a glycolic acid, keep away from sensitive area). Leave it in for a minimum of 2 minutes, max 5 min. The I use exfoliating gloves, soap them up and lightly scrub the face. Do not scrub the skin too hard, as it may burn afterwards. A washcloth is OK to use, but I feel the exfoliating gloves remove the dead skin better. This removes the glycolic clenser, the dead cells and restores the skin pH, leaving the face to feel like a baby's bottom. You know a product is good when you have used it for 20 years. I can't find anything that exfoliates my skin gently, and equally well as this. I highly recommend it. Skin cells have a 7 day turnover rate, i.e. regenerate every 7 days, so it can be used once a week. Adjust it to your needs based on how you feel your skin needs it. Key is to leave it on for 2-5 min to do its work before scrubbing it off. It can be used for any age skin and not just for acne, but most skin types, as skin cells regenerate in everyone. If you have sensitive skin on your face from Rosacea or eczema, I would not use it until I checked with a dermatologist, as it is an acid.

I like the product. It removes all the dead cells, and leaves skin glowing and smooth. Bottle is big so I also use on my chest. I’ve seen it smoother as well. Only thing I don’t like is that it does not foam at all, so I use it in the morning when I’m not wearing make up.

I’ve been using this line of skincare for 26 years. This glycolic cleanser is the best!

Im 60 and I have used this for 15 years. It's not easy to get in canada but I couldn't use anything else. Your skin is clean,gently Exfoliated yet not stripped or dry. No residue left. Only clean. Always fresh and ready to absorb product afterwards.
