Tough, powerful jigsaw.
Excellent jigsaw. Great battery life. Variable speed, super easy to switch blades in and out. Plenty of power and easy to make accurate cuts. Very solid but if kit, feels well made and came with a 3 year warranty. Very good price, very happy with it.

Stunning piece of kit
I've had cheaper jigsaws before, and now older am moving my tools towards the Dewalt range, My old £20 jigsaw cut just as well as this but the ease of being Battery powered, bright LED lights, Dust Extraction, Easy to change saw blades and the speed controlled button, make this a much superior experience. This really is a stunning piece of kit that is well designed in every sense.

Good little saw
This is a good saw, quite light & easy to use I also like the LED above the blade. The first one I received was damaged but returned & replaced it very fast.

Powerful and fast
Performance is as good as a good quality mains jigsaw from any of the leading brands and much better than the blue Bosch which only has an on off trigger with a speed dial. This DeWalt has best of both worlds with variable trigger and a speed dial that can be used to limit the top speed so you can cut various materials without over revving the saw by mistake.The battery life is good even when cutting kitchen worktops

Quality, quality, quality tool !
I’m in no sense a pro - just a wannabe competent DIY’er so on the face of it, DeWalt gear is waaaay more expensive than I need - there are MUCH cheaper, probably perfectly adequate options, but I do enjoy the feel of quality tools, so I’ve got in the habit of treating myself when a job needs a new tool (so I tell myself ). Got 6 or so assorted DeW 18V tools now, and all are hugely impressive. This jigsaw just feels so well made. If anything it’s surprisingly heavy, even without the battery, but at least it’s not going to leap about in use. Dead easy tool-less blade change, well-placed light, easy control of speed (with variable maximum), what’s not to like (well, the price…). Like all DeW stuff, feels like if you dropped it you’d end up with a dent in the floor rather than a broken tool. Recommended if you can stretch to it
