Mr. Lid -11 Piece Set

I had seen the TV ads for this product and was intrigued, but I preferred to go through Amazon whom I trust rather than an unknown vendor so I was happy to find these were indeed available on Amazon. I wasn't sure what to expect but I must say we are delighted with them. Even though they have lids they stack very well together and save space. And because you don't have to search for a lid, they are so easy and convenient to use. I will save money on plastic bags because in the past when I couldn't find a good container with a lid, I resorted to using plastic bags. These containers work beautifully in the microwave and the dishwasher and stack beautifully and uniformly in the refrig (our refrig looks so organized!). We are thinking of throwing out all our old plastic containers and using only these. I hope they wear well in the long run. They are a little stiff to open, but that is a small inconvenience for the fact that when you drop them, they don't spill. And the selection of sizes they include is quite good. I highly recommend these containers to organize your kitchen from the cabinets to the refrig.

I really like this product. I need larger sizes as well. The small sizes are good. There is variety but more larger sizes would make this perfect for me.I find the product to be of good quality. We have been using them for a month. I also had some shipped to my Aunt.***Update March 10, 2015ProsEasy to cleanFinally easy to open the lids. This was difficult when I first purchased them over time that got much better.Very convenient for my daily lunch.I need to order more of these.

Mr. Lid is not as cracked up as the advertisement claims! When I opened the box, there was SMALLER box that housed the containers. I rinsed them out with soap and water, and THEY LEAKED! They are NOT air tight as the commercial claims. I wouldn't recommend dropping them from any height. The measurements on the sides could have been printed much darker.They are also MUCH SMALLER in appearance! The measurements are roughly as followed:8 oz-3.5"L x 3.5"W x 2.25" H16 oz- 5.25"L x 5.25"W x 2.5"H32 oz- 5.5"L x 5.5"W x 3.5"H19 oz- 7.25"L x 5"W x 1.75" H(The only thing you could fit in there is a sandwich!)Sterelite was actually the first company to market attached lids on containers. They are mainly found in craft stores, because the plastic may not be food-safe. However, they are better quality. If Sterilite made containers with locking lids that are food-safe, I would have gladly spent my money on them instead!

PACKAGING WAS OPEN NO INSTRUCTIONS WERE WITH IT LIKE THE ONE I BOUGHT IN STORE THINK THEY WERE USED

I bought these as a way to better organize my cabinets, but the way they stack means they fall over and are a pain to deal with.Also the small ones are almost useless, they are too big for salad dressings and too small for anything else.I hope to find a use for them soon, but don't recommend this product as the sizes are unpredictable. I'll keep buying the ones from the store.

This is my second order on these bowls, the first was on Mr. Lid's web site. I was glad that I could get them from Amazon this time, and avoid the hassle of dealing with Mr. Lid. I went through a series of attempts to sell me on increasing my order and ordering other items they carry the first time around, before I finally reached the point of finalizing the order I went there for in the first place. I would have abandoned any idea I had of ordering more bowls if I had to go through that again.

I thought I would give these a try as trying to keep up and find lids for containers once they are washed and put away can be impossible sometime. I think the lid monster lives int eh cabinet. Anyhoo, I brought these in hopes of keeping the lid monster at bay. So far they work. They last in the dishwasher and kids. I only wish they would come in larger sizes. That is the only reason I'm not giving five stars.

I love having the lids with the containers, because I always lose the lids or can't find them whenI need them. I was having trouble opening the covers, because I have arthritis in my hands and fingers, but all of a sudden I could open them and am able to do it all the time now. I bought three sets of the containers, I was going to use them for gifts, but I might keep all of them and get rid of all my other containers except the larger ones.
