It Is Okay
I don't know if it's me or this, but it didn't make nice long strands, instead they were curled up. There is no real instructions either. The 2nd batch I tried to make molded. It might have been the heat. But I'm not giving up yet. I might update this later.

very pleased
I'm glad I chose this, but it (like other brands of the same design) isn't going to work well with very small seeds, ones that are much smaller than wheat berries. This works well for wheat and seeds that are the diameter of wheat seeds, while still being ok for mung beans (which I believe is what this design was developed for). If you want to use this for tiny seeds, it probably have to be as microgreens planted in coir, with the coir rinsed out at harvest. And the measurements for this, and I assume other brands as well, are what I think are misleading in that 'capacity' should be the inside dimensions, and the grate measures only 8 5/8" by 11 1/4".The directions, as given in Amazon's listing for this item, can be improved as well. Here's my take: Soak seeds until they swell up, as this will cut down on the amount of misting the seeds will need once they're in the sprouter. It fact, you might want to keep them soaking for a couple of days or until there is any sign of sprouting. In determining how many seeds to use, keep in mind that most seeds double or triple in size and that it's probably better to have some bare spaces on the grate than overlapping seeds. Then put about 1/4" of water in the green tray, add the grate, and then spread the seeds over it Finally, add the dome to keep the humidity high. Mist thoroughly morning and night and at least once inbetween. You shouldn't need to add any more water to the tray if you mist. and I don't see the point of emptying the tray more than daily, or even every other day.Remove the dome when the shoots reach the top. Harvest when the seeds get to the desired height or the green tray is completely full. If you want the shoots to be green, move them where there is more light at some point after germination. If you're growing wheatgrass or any other grass, you can get 2 or 3 harvests from each planting by just snipping off the top parts. If you do so, you might want to add a small amount of liquid fertilizer in the root area, as the nutrition stored up in the wheat seeds will have become depleted.

Functional, but..
Only sprouting mung beans. Works as advertised. But one niggle. The transparent plastic top are a bit on the short side. Sprouts lift the lid up.

Awesome, holes could be smaller though.
I like how large it is. I wish the holes were smaller though, my alfalfa seeds fall through to the bottom. I have another seed sprouted with smaller holes so I’ve been using that one to get them started and then transfer to this one once they start growing!

Great for larger seeds
Using for wheat and barley mix for dogs. Works great. Use very little water in bottom tray and mist daily. Using growing mats and they are half the the size of tray, so plant one mat, wait 5 - 7 days and plant other side. This way have fresh "grass" for dogs all the time. May get another for bean sprouts and do the same thing, but use Mason jar for smaller seeds.

not for small seeds
It works fine but the description does not tell you that the wholes are pretty big. If you are using small seeds then it will not work.

Great so far
I've used this to sprout my alfalfa seeds and it has been great. It only takes 5-7 days and you have enough sprouts to last for a few family meals. I didn't spray the sprouts, but just changed the water each day, and they grew just fine. I'm not sure about the durability because I've only had it for a couple of months, but it seems pretty sturdy.

Works perfectly
This works perfectly for what it is designed for which is larger seeds. It states in the description what the use is. If you are growing tiny seeds, buy the ones designed for that.

bon article

Awesome for healthy sprouts
Much better than having to buy single packages and sprouts quickly. I use a lot as I prefer sprouts to lettuce in sandwiches and I add sprouts to most salads.
