I have highly sensitive skin and suffer from massive amounts of allergies. Living in an urban city also means plenty of pollutants and irritants in the air. Puffy red eyes in the morning are not an uncommon occurrence! Sometimes, it gets so bad that I can only open my eyes halfway when I wake up - so puffy are my lids.Wake Eye Gel has been an amazing find. I was first attracted to the brand's ethics (paraben-free, sulphate-free, not tested on animals, responsibly sourced ingredients, environmentally conscious, pro-women, and a charity partnership with Women's Aid to fight domestic abuse). Additionally, I have combination oily skin and prefer aqua based skincare products. The fact that there was aloe, cucumber, collagen, and antioxidants in this eye gel sold it for me.Since using the eye gel for the past couple of weeks, I've been pleased to discover that my sensitive skin has suffered no bad reactions to it whatsoever. The cool gel is an amazingly soothing sensation in the morning - the perfect pick-me-up on sleepy days. It has truly helped with bringing down puffiness from allergies. I see a significant reduction just 2 to 10 minutes after application (depending on the severity of the puffiness). Putting the eye gel in the fridge makes it even better! As far as dark eye circles go, there appears to be some fading as well.I also like how it absorbs. One of my pet peeves is that most eye gels don't sit well under makeup. But my makeup glides on perfectly just 5 minutes after applying Wake Eye Gel.Last of all, I'm a fan of the packaging! Clean, minimalist, and stylish. The bottle looks like a little statement piece sitting on the shelf.

I have been using this product for about a month now and feel like I have a pretty good feel of how the product works and how I like it. Overall, I love this product. The feel, the look and even the presentation of it packaging-wise are impressive to me. It is truly an eye gel and less of an eye cream, so for intense hydration, it may not work for you alone, you may have to combine it with another eye cream. The times I really love to use this eye gel are when I am feeling extremely tired and my eyes are very swollen and puffy. This eye gel has a cooling sensation that really makes you feel awake and helps soothe the warmth that can come with swelling around the eye area, and it does lightly, but not permanently decrease under-eye bags and circles. Ingredient wise, I was overall impressed, however I did not like the inclusion of witch hazel (Hamamelis Virginiana) in this product. I don't like witch hazel in any of my skincare products, because of the fact that it is an astringent and can be quite harsh on the skin. I, especially did not like that it was included in a product meant for the eye area. However, on the flip side, the rest of the ingredients, I loved. Glycerin is the second ingredient, which is great, aloe vera is the third, and these are both very hydrating ingredients. The reason I find this eye cream to not be as hydrating as a cream based eye cream is, is because of the texture, which is quite liquid-y and gel-like (obviously, as it is an eye gel). This brand and product is cruelty, paraben, and sulfate free and the packaging is not made of plastic. I gave this 4/5 stars due to the inclusion of witch hazel in this product, but other than that, the eye gel is wonderful. I think this product is ideally suited for those with combination-oily skin during all times of the year and can be used for combination-dry and normal skin during summer, when more humidity (if you live in a region with humidity) is present. This eye cream could also be great for beginners in skincare or teenagers.

I am really impressed with how Wake Skincare's eye gel has performed. I have been using it every day for a little over a month now, and can definitely see an improvement with the puffiness under my eyes. This is definitely a gel, not a cream, and it can be a little sticky right after applying but settles into the skin really nicely. This has a similar texture to the Smashbox primer, which I like because I think it creates a nice base for eye makeup as well. I have used a lot of eye creams in the past, and they tend to make my eyes burn at first - either from whatever ingredients they have, or the fragrance. I find the creams keep my eyes almost too moisturized, so using it in the day makes it difficult to apply makeup. Wake's eye gel is something I'm using morning and night, and doesn't affect my sensitive skin and is gentle enough to use on the eye lid and under the eye as well. A little bit goes a long way, and I still have quite a big of product even after using it for a month and a half. This makes it a great, affordable eye gel and definitely something I'll be repurchasing.

I keep this product in the fridge and I use it right when I get out of the shower. The gel consistency is great but honestly I wouldn't say it helps too much with puffiness. The cooling effect from keeping it in the fridge helps immensely. It does feel great upon application and helps a bit with dark circles. For the price, I'd say yes- its good and has solid ingredients. I will stick to SkinCeuticals, Age Eye Complex.. definitely pricey but if you're looking for real results for dark circles, fine lines, & puffiness. It's a miracle and also keep it refrigerated.

I have dry sensitive skin so this Wake Eye Gel was an amazing find! It instantly caught my intention when I read the product is cruelty free and never tested on animals, paraben and plastic free.The Eye gel is odorless and it’s also very light weight so it’s perfect to apply before bed and during the day. I’ve used the product a couple of times and have not had any bad reactions. The gel is cooling and feels amazing on my skin. It definitely wakes me up before work! I also like how well the product absorbs into my skin. Lastly, I’m a huge fan of the packaging. It’s very clean and chic.Overall, great product and I would purchase again!

Ich benutze dieses Augenserum nun seit ca. 2 Monaten morgens und abends (ich hatten trotz ausreichend Schlaf immer leichte Augenringe und morgens leicht geschwollene Tränensäcke). Das Serum ist durchsichtig, geruchlos und lässt sich sehr gut auftragen. Es zieht sehr schnell ein und hinterlässt ein angenehmes Gefühl rund um die Augenpartie.Ich kann nicht beurteilen, ob das Serum auch bei richtig dunklen Augenringen und stark ausgeprägten Tränensäcken hilft (bei mir war beides nur sehr leicht ausgeprägt), meine Augenringe und Tränensäcke sind dank des Serums jedenfalls Geschichte!

So, onto my first thoughts when I received the gel; well for a start, the packaging is so pretty, I love the it's minimalist design and even better than that is that it’s a glass bottle! Which means it’s a bit more eco-friendly and it feels a lot more expensive than the plastic tubes you normally get.Something I love about this gel is that it is all natural ingredients, and as someone who has very sensitive skin and psoriasis, this was great to hear. And my skin loved it. I personally suffer with dry eyes due to working at a computer 7-8 hours a day so this felt super hydrating and helped brighten my eyes up.Another thing that’s great about Wake is that they don’t test any of their products on animals! So no worrying about animals like your pets being harmed for our benefit!So… does it work??In my photos you can see the before and after from not using the gel and then after a week of using it in the morning and in the evenings.You be the judge, but I personally think it’s had a big impact on the bags under my eyes and how puffy they get. My eyes feel less dry, they're certainly less puffy and my dark circles have reduced dramatically.You only need a small amount on the gel, I’d say half the size of a pea? It depends on you and how much you want to use! But a little goes a long way. I then smoothed it under my eyes and over my eyelids and then used circular motions to rub it in. Then over the next 5-10 minutes my eye’s started feeling more awake, looked brighter and less puffy. Plus, over time the bags under my eyes seem to have faded a bit too!My take away?If you have never used an eye gel before, I recommend trying this out as you won’t be disappointed! And it’s great knowing that it’s made from natural ingredients, and lasts an entire year after opening. Trust me, with the bottle being pretty big and it going a long way, this will probably last you 6 months to that entire year.I honestly don’t think I’ve got anything bad to say about this gel or Wake, they’re a small British company, and not only are their products are aimed at everyone regardless of age, gender or race, they also make a donation to Women’s Aid from every purchase!If I had to say one thing that isn’t great about the Wake skincare products is that they sometimes run out of stock because it’s so good and people can’t get enough!I will certainly be keeping this in my skincare routine and I can’t wait to get my hands on their face cream next! What you should take away from this is that you really should believe the hype!

Sotto gli occhi ho sempre brutte occhiaie viola ed anche quando sono bella sveglia appaio invece sempre un po’ assonata. L’estratto di cetriolo ed gli altri ingredienti fanno il loro dovere dandomi un aspetto fresco ed attivo.La sua consistenza acquosa è ingannevole. Può sembrare che ci metta molto ad assorbirsi, ma così non è. Si asciuga velocemente e lascia una piacevole sensazione fresca sul viso.Adatto come anti rughe l’ho usato non solo intorno agli occhi, ma anche per le piccole rughe intorno alla bocca.Ho trovato molto interessante anche l’opportunità di usarlo come primer sotto il make up! Funziona!In conclusione lo consiglio? Il mio è un nì. E’ un buon prodotto e su questo non ci sono dubbi, il non sapere di che origine è il collage al suo interno però mi confonde un po’. Under my eyes I always have dark purple circles and even when I’m pretty awake I appear instead always a bit ‘assonata. The cucumber extract and the other ingredients do their duty giving me a fresh and active appearance.Its watery consistency is deceptive. It may seem that it takes us a lot to absorb, but it is not. It dries quickly and leaves a pleasant fresh sensation on the face.Suitable as anti-wrinkle I used it not only around the eyes, but also for the small wrinkles around the mouth.I also found the opportunity to use it as a make-up primer very interesting! It works!In conclusion, I recommend it? Mine is a nì. It’s a good product and there’s no doubt about it, not knowing what the collage is in, but it confuses me a bit. I advise you to follow your personal ethics and evaluate how important it is for you to use a product that could have ingredients of animal origin.

So far the product seems to be working, the bags under my eyes have reduced so I am happy so far. Delivery was super fast and the packaging secure so no breakages. I will buy from this seller again.
