These are tiny. They don't look very big in the picture because they aren't. A grown man can barely hold these delicate instruments in his hands. Might work okay for spreading a really thin layer of butter on your biscuit....a small biscuit.

The butter/cheese spreader that came with my flatware set disappeared so I was happy to see a set of 6 for such a low price. I was concerned they would be poorly made but these are a very good quality. They are sturdy and sleek; a nice set that look nice and spread cheese or butter well. I will be using these for every day and also for holiday serving!

These are very good butter knives, and I knew what i was getting when I ordered them. However, to make them what I really wanted I placed them in a vise and removed the bend making them straight. Then I ground off the sharp point, thus rounding the ends. Now I have six more perfect butter knives that match all my other ones.

They are made from thick sheet metal, which is expected at this price point. And it would be perfectly fine, if the edges were ground and polished so that they look uniform. Mine had burrs visible. Not sharp or anything, but visibly irregular. I expected them to look somewhat the same. They are not. The pictures look perfect, however. That is not what I received. I returned them.

We ordered these for the bread baskets at my Grandson's wedding rehearsal dinner, and they were perfect, light-weight and attractive. This is a good thing because now we will happily split them up among family members as we serve a lot of cheese trays at family parties, and there never seems to be enough spreading or cheese knives.

I needed knives for my cocktail party and cheese platters......found these and felt reasonable priced. Good looking too. Simple design. I was very excited once open packaging.....turned out perfect for what I wanted. Nice quality. They go in the dishwasher just fine. I highly recommend if you are looking for knives like I was.

I was surprised at how nice these butter knives were for the money. Perfect for our dinner party!

The box indicated I had received ICE CREAM SPOONS instead of the knives/spreaders I had ordered. I had already started the return process when I decided to open the box to double-check. As you can see from the photo, the contents were in fact the knives and NOT spoons after all! Haven't used the spreaders yet, but they look and feel like decent quality.
