U.S. Art Supply Children's 3-Sided Art Activity Easel with Chalkboard, Large Paper Roll, Shelf & Plastic Paint Cups

Perfect for kids my baby love it

A part was broken when it arrived, it wasn't crucial. The company was unable to replace but gave me a partial refund which was acceptable. The kids love it.

I ordered this easel to be used in one of the children's classrooms in our church, New Life Community Church-Fair Oaks, Ca 95628. This easel is well built, Sturdy, easy to assemble and comes with both a white board and a chalk board! This easel also comes with six paint cups with lids and stoppers, a paper roll and two large storage bins. As I've already stated, this US Art Supply Cardiff Children's Art Activity Easel is "AWESOME" and I highly recommend it to school teachers, Sunday School teachers, pre-school teachers, families for their children to use at home, etc. This US Art Supply Cardiff Children's Art Activity Easel deserves a "10++++++" for being so well built, sturdy and easy to assemble!!!Thank youDel B.

After LOTS of research and back and forth between this and a couple competing products we purchased this for my 3 year old daughter's birthday this year. She loves it and its a gift that can grow with her as she gets older and it also is fun for the parents as well. The easel is well made and goes together in around a half hour. The only tricky part was getting the legs the right height, it almost seems like you are putting them on wrong.Pros- Seems well made and overall sturdy with screw and wingnut connections- Comes with paint trays with "drip resistant" lids- Double sided = double fun or fun with a friend (whiteboard and chalkboard)- Has a paper roll that works on both sides- Baskets as a nice touch and very useful- Grows in height with child as legs are adjustable- Looks nice, not cartoony, or plastic like everything is. Made of wood.- Price was competitive with othersCons- We found the plastic lids for the paint jars only good for the smallest of brushes and my daughter likes to experiment with different size brushes.- The lowest setting is pretty good but my daughter (who is 3 and very short) has a tough time reaching more than about halfway.- The chalkboard isn't a true chalkboard in that it seems more like a coating so the chalk appears lighter and not like you'd expect from say a school chalkboard- The whiteboard is similar too. Its good but more of a coating than a true whiteboard which is to be expected at this price. We've found that foam brushes work as a nice eraser and are more fun.

Awesome Easel! I bought it for my super artistic 5 year old & it will well suit her endeavors for at least until college & maybe well beyond. I was not expecting the boards to be so big but am pleasantly surprised. Very, very pleased with it.Assembly: I put this together in about 15 minutes & I'm a novice builder to say the least. It was so easy & they provided a Philips head screwdriver which is the only tool needed for assembly. Upon completion, I find it to be extremely sturdy and well designed!As a professional artist myself, I would recommend this to any age group and not just marketed to kids, then again I am only 5'3 lol...but seriously this easel will come in handy for many years to come. Much more than I ever expected for the price.Oh & as a former preschool director & teacher I would give this an A+++++++ for classroom use. This thing can definitely take daily beatings from little artists of many ages!So happy!!!!***Edited to add a safety suggestion:This by no means deserves any deduction in stars so my 5 star review still stands; HOWEVER, I'd like to add that the corners of the trays at the bottom of the easel (not the storage bins) ie what holds the markers & paint cups was pretty sharp on our Easel. It was an easy fix with a regular nail file I used to simply sand the sharpness down to more rounded edges. No big deal, took 5 minutes but definitely worth a note in the review. My daughter got SLIGHTLY scratched by it but we rarely wear very many clothes inside our home (obviously within reason so don't go all crazy reporting me bc we're AL hippies lol) so it maybe would snag someone's clothing instead of scratching skin. Either way, it was a simple fix & something that will fix itself over time & use as well but I felt worth a note bc some parents might get up in arms over something like that.

I researched MANY children's easels before choosing this one, so I'm happy to share the things I really like about it. In no particular order:1) Adjustable height. This was a gift for my 4-year-old nephew and the easel is a great height for him. Unless he grows freakishly quickly, I can see him being able to use this for another decade... assuming he is still into art then!2) Multiple mediums: One side of the easel has a white marker board and the other side has a chalkboard, and a large roll of paper can feed down either side. Your budding artist can create masterpieces with markers, chalk, pencils, crayons, paint brushes... So many options!3) The paint cups have an ingenious no-spill design that takes the extra paint off the brush as it is removed from the paint well, preventing a super-saturated brush from flinging paint everywhere (in case you don't want Jackson Pollock techniques being practiced in your living room).4) There are two storage bins at the bottom of the easel to hold plenty of art supplies.5) Being made of pine, the easel feels very solidly constructed but is light enough to be moved around as needed. Might be best to dissuade the landscape genre, though, as I'm not sure this would do well outside.6) The easel is clearly designed for children, but it doesn't look "childish," which increases the likelihood that my nephew will continue to use it for a number of years.I would absolutely buy this again.
