Very nice indicator setup I thought the cheap price it was gonna be a bad product but its as nice as the starrett I had at my other job

This is a Chinese copy of a name brand indicator. I bought it to adjust the X and Y on a mill-turn and it works wonders. Used just a regular indicator, a magnetic base, and a mirror before this. Borrowed a coaxial from a coworker and man is it way easier to use! I just used it a few hours ago to locate a dowel pin hole on our mill trunnion, took 5 minutes to indicate X + Y within .0005. These things make life so much easier. If you want to spend $300+ on a name brand then that can be your prerogative, I don't use it often enough to justify spending that much on one. Will update this if I encounter any issues in the future.

I was astonished just how quickly I could locate centers using this tool. Currently the accuracy seems limited by my skill. I do wish that it came with better directions. It comes with an unnecessary wrench for tightening the probe, but is missing a philips screwdriver and small wrench that are necessary to set the probe angle. It is a good value.

Had this thing for a month or more befor even takin it out of the box....was very pleased for the price worked well and was verry accurate...dont know about how it will last, but not using everyday ...but pleased so far

My Bridgeport mill is not set up yet, but this centering indicator should be a good device at a reasonable price.

I am not JOE JOE rocket and jet engine guy. I am a hobbyist using a beat up Bridgeport clone mill in my garage. I wish and would love a Starrett centering gauges but there high quality would be wasted on my equipment and talent level. I am not and have a budget for my hobby. I was pleased at how well this tool worked. I bored several holes and they were spot on using this to center my boring bar. I am very satisfied with this tool. It as paid for it self in this one job. I feel it will last if I take good care of it.

Quick delivery. I inspected all of the parts. It works as described. No complaints about the quality. I really take good care of my tools, so, it will last me very long time. You just have to treat it as if you paid $5,000 for it. It is precision and delicate piece of equipment, be gentle with it and the tool will serve you well. Certainly good value.

Easy to set up. Works best at slow RPMs. Instructions aren't that great, but Youtube has everything you need.

I have a Rong-Fu 30 milling machine. I needed to bore out some existing holes. First I used a cone tool to get close to center, then I used this coaxial indicator to really dial it in. I did not have to use power to dial in, just manualy moved the spindle around and it was easy to find center. Unit comes in a nice wooden box with cut out foam for the tools. I am happy with the purchase.
