Fancy made in Japan nail clipper - high quality and feels great in your hand
The Green Bell - Takumi No Waza Stainless Steel Nail Clipper (G-1205) is, hands down, the best nail clipper I’ve ever owned. Made in Japan, you can truly see and feel the quality craftsmanship as soon as you open the box. The packaging itself is beautiful and feels premium, with authentic Japanese text and an attention to detail that makes it a perfect gift or a special treat for yourself. This model, G-1205, is highly recommended for a reason. The blade is extremely sharp, giving precise, clean cuts every time—no tearing, splitting, or rough edges. The solid stainless steel construction makes the clipper feel substantial and sturdy in hand, unlike so many flimsy alternatives. It might be priced a bit higher than your average clipper, but it’s absolutely worth it. The quality, performance, and longevity easily justify the investment. If you are looking for the best in nail care, this is it—100% satisfied and already recommending it to friends and family!

Yes, these clippers are worth the price
I was skeptical but decided to trust the very positive reviews. The build quality is superior to any others I've used, the edge is really sharp, meaning the quality of the cut is very smooth. No need to file your nails after. They are also very easy to use, as they have great leverage. The cost matches the quality. The file built into the back of the lever is a nice feature as well. I've recommended these to many friends and family.

Great clippers
This is a great clipper. It is larger than clippers we normally see sold. It is not the size of toe nail clippers; however, the design gives one better leverage and less effort to clip nails. I bought two for myself (home and office) and one for my daughter who loved mine. It is more expensive than the clippers you find in a drug store, but it is worth it as it is well made.

Best Nail File I've Ever Owned
I had seen this nail clipper recommended as the best of the best on various sites, and I was wondering if it was worth the hype. Well, it arrived, and it is. I don't even know how to describe it in words. It's just perfect. The ergonomics are flawless, I like how it feels in the hand. But the most important thing is how it cuts. The blade is sharp and it doesn't even make a sound when clipping, but what is even better than this is that it leaves your nail edges smoother and thus greatly reduces the need for filing. The file location and size (being a smaller surface area surrounded by smooth metal) is a bit unorthodox, but I find it's helpful because it reduces the chance that you accidentally bump the rough file against your skin or nail. Instead you only use the file intentionally.I highly recommend this. At $20 it's a splurge, but here's the thing: you only buy this once. It's also a bit bulkier which makes it a little bit harder to misplace and easier to locate if you do. And I'm more than willing to pay the extra $15 or so over a cheapie store-brand file in exchange for the little improvement in quality-of-life I get from this item. It's now always a great pleasure to clip my nails, and it also seems to take less time than before, so it's a real win-win. My nails are in better shape and I save a little bit of time here and there.I wish I had discovered this years ago!

Worth the Premium
Wirecutter was on the mark with their review. This nail cutter looks to be one of those "buy once, cry once" products. The build quality is solid, and the design provides better ergonomics and leverage, making each cut clean and effortless. I hope it lasts a lifetime, but even if it only holds up for ten years, it's still worth paying 2x–4x more than a drugstore clipper. If you want precision and comfort, this is the one to get.

Great nail tool, but definitely larger than standard.
Bought these as a result of a great review in Wirecutter. This is a very well made and finely machined item. However, these are larger than the standard sizes I’m used to making it a little difficult to use for those with smaller hands and to cut smaller nails (think pinky). Would definitely not use on children. These are probably better suited for toe nails. Also, not a dealbreaker but should be noted, does not have a built in file.

Cute nicely. Perfect size for both
I like the size of these. I saw reviews saying they are too big but I wanted a pair that could be both fingernail and toenail. These seem to be it and seem quality. Cut nicely. I will update review if need be but feel like these are a good value.
