Drum Barrel Pump

The product came quickly. I am "old school" and love things I do not have to "plug in" or "charge". This pump works great, easy to assemble and is priced good! I am now looking at the other products they offer! Thanks!

This is the third one of these pumps I have purchased. We use it to pump Methanol Racing fuel from a 55 gal drum for our race cars. They are very durable to hold up to this type fuel. I will be buying again for sure. Great product.

The hand pump that starts the siphon requires some strength. It has to be pumped at a high enough rate that the siphon fills up and starts. It's possible to pump too slowly so that the siphon does not start, but even then the device is pumping fluid. The siphon hose has enough volume that one has to learn when to open the valve and stop the siphon action or there may be overflow. Working the valve also requires some attention, checking that it is fully closed, opening it quickly enough. I'm a big fan of classic devices that don't use batteries, and this is a good one.

I bought this pump to use for rain barrels and hand washing bins. It does an excellent job for transferring water even with some debris from the gutters making it in. The pump works so well i've found myself using it for many other outdoor projects. A+ for the value! Note - It shipped extremely fast!

This pump might fit most barrels but doesn’t fit mine. The adapter ring to screw into the bung hole is to small and the thread pitch is wrong. There was a suggestion to use the other side of the barrel but it is the same so that is not an option for me will be returning the pump and trying to find the right one.

So easy to use. When it gets going, it flowers really well. Like that the hose is long enough to meet the bucket to void spillage. Also like that the pipe is long enough to hit bottom of barrel. Great find.
