Like Herbal Tea? This is it!
I have a nursery and friends who enjoy picking Linden flowers, nettles and such from the wild to make their teas. This book has been a big hit with many of them. I've had to buy more than 1 copy to give it to someone who saw mine. Folks who think they know it all find this is just too useful to pass by. I've not tested all the recipes, but the ones I've done have been good. It is an attractive book and interesting and I have never seen a more useful reference on the topic. Not long and dry reading, just a cookbook for tea, but giving you the herbal remedy applications as well for each recipe.

Excellent and easy to follow recipes!
I love this book. It's well organized and has a number of wonderful recipes in it. My personal favorite is "Kiddie Calm" which works wonderfully. I serve it unsweetened and iced with supper and it helps ease the kids down from their adrenaline highs. Even with no sweeteners, the tea has a wonderful flavor with a hint of sweetness that the kids love. And that's only one of the 101 recipes available - everything from de-stressing to dealing with PMS to assistance with workouts are provided. I've tried about 1/3 of the blends myself and have enjoyed each and every one.

Recipies are great but the book lacks focus
I bought this book because I did not like the mountain of overlapping information contained in the other books I had read on herbal teas. In other words, I wanted "just the recipes".Unfortunately, the recipes come from different sources, whose authors biographies are also given. So rather than having a single author whose authority on the subject is clearly delineated, you get biographies of people with their favorite recipes. These folks all have businesses, so one gets the feeling that the book is trying to promote their businesses and secondarily giving you recipes to try.Bottom line: some good recipes, a scatter shot approach, and a lack of focus.

Wonderful Tea Blend Book
I really dig this book. If you are into Herbs and Tea then this belongs on your bookshelf. It is an excellent reference for tea blends by ailment or desired effect. The authors have also included wondeful bios of herbalists which I really enjoyed. I would love to see a full-color version of this book with more photos and in hard cover. I would buy it again!

Very Informative
This is an awesome book, with great recipes to ease aches and pains. I have fibromyalgia and anything that I can use or find that eases pain naturally without a whole lot of pain meds is right up my alley!!

Herbal Teas, 101 Nourishing Blends - Concise and Informative
This little book has easy blends to make or adapt. It's the first herbal tea book I've ever read that actually starts with the goal you have in mind, and then gives you herbs to blend into teas for that. For instance, protecting yourself from a cold or flu, here are 2 or 3 recipes that would help. I love this book and highly recommend it.

Complex recipes
I bought this as a present for a herbal tea drinker but I don't think I'll be gifting it as the recipes are seemingly complex brews with ingredients I didn't know existed and I doubt the recipient would either. Probably great for established herbalists but not a beginners book!

Not my cup of tea.
I found this book very disappointing too many obscure ingredients. I donated this book to my local charity shop - perhaps someone will get better use out of it?

Tolles Einsteigerbuch
Also: absolute Kaufempfehlung für Tee-Anfänger.

But it has good info and nicely laid out
It would have been more helpful if it had a glossary / index at the back. But it has good info and nicely laid out.
