I always choose ceramic as I deem them to be safer even. I have a Challenge one I bought from Argos which is bigger but this one produces the same amount of heat.It won't warm up a large room but instead is nice blowing under your desk or if you have it plugged into a smart plug, warm up your rooms 30 minutes before you wake up!It also has a nice feature where if it tips over it will turn off automatically.

I bought this heater because I needed a small and compact fan.This was a perfect matchIt looks good, modern and sleek!This has made my life sooo much easierA lovely mini heater fan where I can even put on the table or my desktop.Its quite small but very powerful. It heats up the room very fast I must say.Love it with hot and cool wind instead of just a heater.It will be very useful when winter is comes

Mine arrived in good time....but the dial to turn to change heat output, hot/cold and fan power was broken. I looked at the packaging and there was no sign of damage. I had to conclude that it left the factory like that. I did mull over the idea of sending it back....but couldn't be bothered. It's a tenner....so, I super-glued it back on!The wee heater is for my shed as my e-bike doesn't start up once the temperature drops. At the moment I have it in the bathroom as I just mopped the floor. It's doing its job and well....again....it was £10. I had one of these when they first came out. If memory serves it was a Canadian device and when I bough mine it was over a weeks wage in the early 1990's.....£130!! And it was crap!! This one outperforms my former ceramic heater hands down. And did I mention....it's a tenner!! I think it's fantastic value. No, it won't heat an entire livingroom...but what do you expect. Be realistic!

Run this puppy for ten minutes in a closed bedroom and you'll notice it's a lot warmer. Great for taking the chill off when you're bunking down on a cold night. So hot that you feel you could burn your face if it's right in the path of the air, yet the unit stays cool--that's what you want in a space heater. So effective you only need to run it for short bursts.

I am very happy with this portable room heater. It is working well and I do not have any complaints. Matches the description. Bought it in lightning deal so was a bargain.

Works well and seems that the fan goes further than some others so you can feel the immediate heat more (they would all heat up the space the same). Noticed that the power is actually 900W/1800W for the one I received but not sure if this is all of them or some are newer versions etc.

Don't know why I hadn't thought of it sooner - every year around winter even in southern California it's gets chilly, and that makes it harder to work on the computer or do things (cold hands). It's the perfect space for a desk, and I feel better knowing it has a safety switch off it is tips over. Why heat the the whole house? This is perfect for what I need, thank you!

This fan heater is very convenient and practical. Quick heating, easy to use. I like samll sizes, which means I can move easily. It works quietly, there is no noise, it can be used as a fan in summer, very cool,can be used for two purposes, I love it.
