8285E 8285 3-Inch Beech Wood Designer Caster, 4-Pack

I thought it was going to add a few inches to the night stand. That’s more classy and sturdier that I imagined. It looks pretty cool!

We originally posted a negative review because wheels were binding. However, after beginning to remove the casters from my office chair I discovered that the axel bolts had come loose on all 4 casters. After I tighten them up the problem with the wheels binding was resolved.

These wheels worked out just great for a butcher block cart restoration project. They are very sturdy and lock tight in place. Well made, easily supports a 125 pound hardwood cart and allows for easy transport should it need to be rolled to a different location.

Wife has a large square wood cabinet which sits in floor between two couches. She wanted it mobile, now she can move it anywhere in the room with almost zero effort.

This product is great! The reason 2 star review is that I was shipped the casters with no locking mechanism. I like them well enough not to send back and deal with the hassle of replacement. But it is super aggrevating. That said, the casters themselves are awesome. 5 Star hardware! Look amazing in wood. Very quiet and study and work great!

Great clean look!!

I used the casters for my audio video console which has all my electronic gear and a 60 inch TV. I needed casters that could bear the weight yet be soft on my hardwood floor and lock so that the cabinet wouldn’t move. When I need to access my cables and ports on the back of my equipment, I just roll the cabinet away from the wall and there you go...everything is easily accessible. Want to clean and dust at the back- easy! These casters ticked all the boxes. Very good quality. The steel component is actually metallic steel in color. The picture shown on Amazon look green. That’s not the case in reality. I am going to buy another set for another similar use. The product arrived in a day, as promised. I’m very satisfied all round.
