Portable and great for everyday use
Excellent product. It arrived in a nice box with charging cable and clear instructions. It fits all toothbrushes that we have in our home for all family, it even fits electric toothbrush heads. While most people think that such a thing is over exaggerated, I can tell you after almost a month use that it's not. I usually change my toothbrushes every 6 months, but during this use I have never thought of sterilizing them. From the first moment toothpaste tasted differently after sterilizing the toothbrush. You just put the toothbrush head in the sterilizer and press the button. In 3 minutes it’s done. When you use your toothbrush after sterilization you can definitely sense something is different. The taste is different, no smell, residues are cleaned easier from the toothbrush. Also, the toothbrush looks cleaner on the back, its white is definitely white, not a yellowish white. The battery lasts for almost two weeks, having 3 toothbrushes sterilized almost every day and sometimes twice a day. That would account for more than 50 sterilizations.I am satisfied with the product and I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Poweroak Portable Deep UV Toothbrush Santiser
Compact and handy little sanitiser just made for travel, which only has one slight drawback and that is depending on the size of the toothbrush head the closing of the sanitiser is tricky to do. Mine is difficult to close which leads me to think I might have the wrong size toothbrush head, however yours might be different so don't let me put you off as otherwise it's the best sanitiser I've had so far.

Good idea and simple to use
I have travelled a lot to India and soon China so I thought this would be of use on my travels. I also suffer from occasional mouth and throat infections during the winter months so this gizmo is another layer of protection/prevention to stop re-infection.The sterilizer is quite small so easy to take on your travels or store in the bathroom cabinet. I was quite surprised how small the UV LED is, my drinking water steripens are relatively big in comparison. My guess is this is new technology, things just keep getting smaller. Initial charge took about four hours and this is supposed to give approximately 50 uses before a re-charge is required which is more than enough for a holiday or business trip. It should charge from a power bank too so I would think it will be fine for use when camping. The instructions say to clean the rubber ‘bladder’ by removing it from the unit. I wouldn’t recommend washing the unit itself because it doesn’t look water tight. So far after a few uses it functions fine but I’ll never know if it’s killing the bacteria on by toothbrush – I’ll have to take the manufacturers word on that. Would I recommend it, yes, if you travel a lot or in my case get mouth infections easily. Bit expensive but worth it for peace of mind. One point though, the mini USB cable is way too short – I have longer ones that I’ll use.

The door panel is loose and does not click shut.
Well its a very very dim UV light, I was expecting a brighter light. There is a UV test where you place a UV light on a greenish banana and and effective UV light will discolour the surface. I tried that test and it had no effect, so you only have the manufacturers word that it works at all. If the toothbrush is not clean or has toothpaste on it it will gum up the inside of the unit, the diode itself is protected by a transparent plastic cover. An additional use is to sterilise cotton wool buds. Providing it actually works at all that is.

Nice Compact Device
Compared to other toothbrush sterilizer device, this compact one is just what I'm looking for, space saving, easy to use, portable for travel. It is of high quality, well packaged, came fully charged too. I cannot testify the sterilization results, but it is much a comfort knowing how it works as clearly explained in the instructions. Would recommend!

Excellent portable sanitation device!
I've been using the device for a few days now and very impressed so far - it was already charged when it arrived, so I could use straightaway. It is super compact and there is a charging cable and instructions included. You just need to insert toothbrush, press button and the device works for 3 minutes, then switches itself off (very handy if you forget about it, it won't waste battery power). The blue light lets you know when it is in use.Of course I don't have a laboratory to check whether germ levels have decreased on my toothbrush! :) But after using everyday I feel safer in the knowledge that the germ levels are decreasing and my toothbrush is nice and clean for each use. It'd be perfect for travelling as it's so tiny, perhaps if you're going to be in a hotel or sharing a dorm room and you're worried about germs or un-clean areas. It's also perfect as a travel toothbrush holder when not in use! Great for children's toothbrushes also if you are worried about germ levels - it can fit any size toothbrush head.Really impressed with the delivery speed and quality of the product!

How do you know it works
The problem with this sort of gadget is how do you know it works, yes the light comes on but whether it is doing any good I can't tell.It is a well made gadget, just charge it up from a usb charger (short lead supplied) put the toothbrush head in close the hatch and press a single button and you get a 3 minute burst of UV.The downside is that although we tried a number of manual toothbrushes and power heads none would fit through the entry hole. The blue rubber lining is removable which would overcome this however we trimmed the liner so that it could still be used.
