Required Reading with some good points of view
Required read but great information regarding the need to listen and accept the points of view of the children being taught and how those views influence their way of learning. Talks on sensitive topics of more recent discussion, such as gender and sexuality topics, from an academic perspective with little added bias.

A solid text on the subject of multicultural education.
Bought as a textbook for a course. Currently in its ninth edition. Still thorough and relevant. Edited by leaders in the field.

Its a good read. It is an anthology of different authors ...
This was the textbook for a class I took for my credential. Its a good read. It is an anthology of different authors work so there are some chapters that are better than others. I learned a lot from this book but I am not sure that I would have benefited the way I did from this book without my class. I would not have read the book on its own (without it being for school) but it was a good book for the class I took.

Not too bad
Good info to consider. Reads well. Can be a bit accusatory but recovers with good info for instruction.

A Useful (Albeit Expensive) Resource
A thoughtful and accessible exploration of culture, relevant for teachers in public school or higher education. I had to read this book for a course I took last year, and it was very useful for the course. The only drawback was that the edition was not that affordable at the time I had to purchase it.

Great resource!
This is a great resource that teaches about multicultural education. However in my opinion it could have been condensed into a much smaller version. The information presented in the book is somewhat repetitive.

Perfect condition
This book is very useful to understanding the needs of students who are ELL’s and/or are ethnically and culturally diverse. The textbook was in perfect condition when I received it. Also, it has great strategies/ideas to use in the classroom.

Good information. Keeps you wanting to learn more
Good information. Keeps you wanting to learn more. Different authors that share answers or ask questions that make you use critical thinking.
