Our cat hates carpets and attacks them multiple times a day. She is a medium sized 8kg girl. Rescued as un-placeable from multiple owners, because of carpet killing. Since buying this post rather than the standard one she barely attacks the carpets any more. She loves it as it is solid and she does not pull it over like she did with the standard ones.The weight may be an issue for some people who are elderly/disabled but it is easy enough to move so it should not be an issued for the vast majority of people.The cord is attached strongly, we have had it a few months and it has been savaged multiple times a day with no sign of coming off.Didn't need catnip, she saw it and instantly savaged it, we have had to use catnip on some of the earlier small models to get her interested, maybe she knew they would fall on her if she attacked them, not sure how she was so confident with this one.Overall 5 star.

My kitten’s favourite place to be! Tips loves this cat tree so much that if I put any of his stuffed toys on it he has to immediately bolt them out so he can be king of the castle! Easily the best purchase I made for my high energy cat who loves to climb. He will play up and down the ramps as well as climb the long scratching poles! Plus his new favourite place to sleep is on top of the pedestals so we no longer have to hunt round the whole house for him when he goes quiet! So pleased with this tree, well worth the money. The only thing my kitten doesn’t use are the two boxes, he will play in them if you put a toy in but otherwise just uses them to climb! But that’s fine as he gets so much use out of the rest of it!Assembly was fine, was a little bit like checking which screw you needed to use over and over but once you put a layer together you get a feel for which one went where as there are a few different types. But overall I am so pleased with this tower and wouldn’t be without it for him now!

Good value - bought last year still decent condition couple spaces in between the yarn now but can be tightened and if need be am sure can add more to this recommend as I have one large heavy cat and one who likes jumping to great heights and from distances. Goes well livingroom and sturdy with great padded top one cat sits even lies at top and movable too

Out 6 month kitten loves this. She's really confident and as soon as it was up she was all over it - she pelts her way up and down, hides toys in the houses and actually does like to sit in the houses as well when it suits her. She took to the toy mice immediately and somehow these still look fully intact, despite the battering they get!The platforms are the perfect height for her to look out on the world through the window and she spends a decent amount of time snoozing up there, so it most for comfortable. It's a sturdy bit of kit - slight movement when she's on a mad one, but we've got every faith that it will stay standing (at the moment we do anyway - when she's fully grown it may be a different story). We like to hide treats in different places for her to sniff out.It was fairly easy to assemble (required a little bit of common sense, and at one point we had to pop a hole in the roof of one of the houses to make way for a screw to fit through), but we got it up and running in about an hour and half. For something of this size, it's quite simple to put together.It does take up quite a bit of room but she loves it.

CT06 model. My kitten loves it, especially sleeping in the round hammock. He loves to climb up and play with the mice, even pull them out of their slots, plus sit on the top shelf. Good product for the price, but due to price not the highest build quality. Ensure that you tighten the bolts properly otherwise they become loose. Also think carefully about which model to buy, CT06 is really only suitable for a kitten up to 12 months or very petite cat, as the hammock, house and shelves are small. In terms of the CT06 specifically, the same design seems to be sold under many different brand names on amazon at similar prices - I assume they are all originally produced at the same factory so you will find this product is not unique so shop around (but at the precise time of my purchase this 'brand' was at a good price).NEGATIVES:I found it was not steady and was concerned my kitten would pull it over, so I solved this by placed a set of (conveniently already owned) dumbbells weighting it down by an extra 12kg, without this I would not have felt my kitten was safe.As the kitten scratches and plays, quite a lot of fluff and fibres come off the tree, so need to vacuum those up.Once kitten is older, I will need to resell this (if it is still in good enough condition) and look for one suited to a larger adult cat.Three-star rating because kitten loves it, serving a purpose and good value. Star taken off because of the weight issue, if I did not have appropriate weighting method this would have been rendered unusable. Second star taken off because it is not very clear in the descriptions that CT06 is suited to kittens or small cats only, luckily I bought it for a kitten anyway, but I could just have easily going by the description bought this for a large cat who would not have been comfortable using it.

Brilliant the cats love them !we have had three of these now over the last 5 years and they are fantastic. The size is brilliant and every cat should really have one as they are thevperfect size for your cat to properly stretch their backs. They love sitting on top and they play a lot together around it. It's large and durable.....don't waste money on small skinny cat scratchers they arnt fit for purpose. Show your cat you care get them a fat boy....arrived well packaged and came quickly, simple to put together simply screw into base. Definitely using this seller again

Ho acquistato uno di questi tiragraffi, uno dei modelli con i topini che penzolano attaccati al filo, per il mio cucciolo di 4 mesi.La struttura è facile da montare ed è molto stabile. Purtroppo il mio gatto, che è molto vivace, ha tagliato con i dentini il filo che tiene i topini e l'ha ingerito, più o meno 15cm, fortunatamente lo abbiamo ritrovato nelle feci ma poteva andare molto molto peggio... consiglio il tiragraffi ma rimuovete i fili con i topini potrebbe capitarvi quello che è successo a me ma con conseguenze gravi.
