Keg Post Conversion Kit (pin lock to ball lock) 9/16-18 Thread

Don't replace your dip tube o-rings with the ones that come with this kit. I first noticed an issue when doing a closed transfer in through the liquid out. I heard the sound of air getting sucked in. Then when serving I noticed air bubbles in the line. After eliminating the QDs, nut, and barb as the issue I removed the post and compared the dip tube o-ring to others I own. They are significantly different. The inner diameter of the ones in this kit (on the left in the attached image) is larger, and the cross-sectional diameter is smaller than a properly fitting o-ring. After replacing it with an o-ring in my inventory (on the right) the air leak went away.So I'm giving this 3 stars since the kit works fine, but you'll have to supply your own dip tube o-rings. Unfortunately the issue I had probably ruined this batch by exposing it to so much oxygen during the transfer. I guess time will tell.

Worked exactly as advertised. Easily converted an older pin lock keg to ball lock. No instructions were given but easy to find on YouTube.
