It's a battery charger and seems to work well.

I love this product very much no issues at all, just expect to be waiting awhile for the batteries to fully charge, it’s not quick as you think, I had a gig and last minute had to charge the batteries because I forgot to the night before, I plugged them in two at the same time and left them for an hour before I left, I ended up with very little to no pictures and footage because my camera died so just a little heads up on the charging time don’t wait till the last minute but just an awesome product that I didn’t expect was going to be good and no issue so far hope to keep it that way.

This duel charger works great and is compact & lightweight which makes it great for travel! However, I had to put electrical tape around 90% of the LED lights because it adds too much light to the room when trying to sleep (in hotels where I don't have the option of putting it in another room). I left just the last bar exposed so I can see when it's finished charging. Would be great if there was an option to turn the light off, or the LED light area was smaller... it doesn't need to be so large.

I have three of these and have been using them daily for years. The USB-C port allows for fast charging. Great cheaper alternative to the sony brand charger.
