The media could not be loaded. This is a beautiful Piece. I love it. It's 10 inches high, and about 5 inches across. I have one from 20 years ago and two of the horses came off, and broke from people handling them. I wish I could find a place to replace them because it was a gift like this was a gift as well. The painting is fair. It is not like one of those artistic Animated Musical Carousel that go up and down. I do not even think they sell those unless custom made, and very expensive. But they do go around and play music with just a twist of your hand on top. I took a picture of it with an Ovaltine jar so you can see how thicker it is. It's not small, and not light at all. It's heavy compared to the other light weighted ones.

This was exactly what I was looking for to give to my mom for her birthday. She loves carousel and her decor has a lot of gold so this matched perfectly. It was packaged very well and is easy to operate simply by pushing the top down. My mom says she absolutely loves it and plus the music all the time. Highly recommended.
