It took me six months to finish this book reading it on and off. During that time I carried it around to many different places. People were always complimenting on what a beautiful book it is. It really is beautiful, but the stories inside are wonderfully captivating! Jules Verne was an amazing author and a man ahead of his time.

This hard covered book was brand new, never opened, mint condition at a great price. It arrived before they said it would. I am happy with the product and the service and the entire transaction. Absolutely pleased!

It's a beautiful book it contains Five weeks in a balloon, A journey to the center of the earth, From the earth to the moon, Round the moon, Twenty thousand leagues under the sea, around the world in eighty days and The mysterious island.

The presentation is attractive and classic. The printing is crisp. The font size is just right.

This is a beautiful book.

I've bought many leather bound books of classic literature and I would rate this as one of my favorites. My particular copy arrived with some slight damage to the gilding on the page edges but it wasn't sufficient to return it and it has no effect upon the usability of the book. The cover is a collage of pictures from many of Jules Verne's books and has the feel that it is inviting you into a world of many adventures contained on the pages within. I'm happy with the purchase.

This review isn't about the actual story content. I think most people know what Jules Verne's stories are about by now. The review is on the quality of this amazing book. It is a hardbound book with a very beautiful cover and high quality gold leafed pages. I've never seen anything like this available at this cost. The book came from the U.K. but it shipped very quickly and only took a week or so to reach me and it was packaged so well a truck could run over it without damaging it. If you are looking for a book of some of Jules Verne's novels printed on high quality material then this book is for you!

Great product and price

When this book arrived I was not disappointed. Right away I could see that book is sealed with cellophane wrapper. The edges of book are gold and feel good factor is there with this book. This item has a quality feel to it. The book is a present for a 8 year old girl and having read Jules Verne when I was a similar age I know that the stories here are very good.The VFM here is consistent with Amazon's competive pricing so no cause for complaint here.This book and its novels are priceless and any one looking for a present for someone young or older can not go wrong here.
