I had this spoon rest on my list for a long time. I thought it was quite expensive for a spoon rest. I should have purchased sooner. It is absolutely beautiful, substantial and well made. I love how the plate removes for washing and the spoon is propped up rather than laying flat. Don't hesitate, I guarantee you will love it!

This is beautiful, my wife loves it. Adds a sense of quality to the kitchen. However n her excitement she accidentally broke the spoon rest later and we cant find a replacement for it ... something to think about when buying quality items. But we found uses for it without the spoon rest.

Item arrived well packaged in a box and placed in styrofoam from the GG Collection. The previous one that I ordered, I returned because it was delivered in a bag and used.

I collect the GG Acanthus line, this was the first piece in years I have been dissapointed with. I purchased 2, kept one to hold my pan scrubber - returned the other one This is actually the soap dish, not the spoon rest - and it is not oversized or as nice as all the other items in the collection.
