Great keyboard, but no aluminum
This keyboard has a great feel and finished and pairs easily between 4 different devices. I also like that in has the number pad and backlit; that's something of a rarity. One thing to note, as other reviews has said, this keyboard is not aluminum in any way. It's all plastic which is ok with me because that makes it lighter which I like.

Threw it away
I tried and tried to like this keyboard for half a year, but in the end I'm throwing in the E-waste bin. On the positive side, earning two stars: the backlight works well and Bluetooth preserves one of the two USB type A ports on my laptop. The keyboard layout is perfectly conventional (important for touch typist), unlike the contorted Dell laptop layout. The all-plastic construction is lightweight and wastes no space, at least compared to a big gaming keyboard. On the negtive side, some keys are intermittent: almost every sentence is missing some of the "a" letters and spaces, but other keys sometimes bounce and repet; this requires constant proofreading and correction (which I did not do on this sentence). The instructions do not match the product (took a while to figure out how to turn on the backlighting, since the backlight key discussed in the manual does not exist. The chicklet keys barely depress and the action is too mushy to allow fast touch typing. Eventually I found myself using only the number keypad on the Matias keyboard but then pushing it aside and reverting to the Dell laptop keyboard when typing text. Instructions talk about one battery for the keyboard and one for backlight, but mine seems to have a single battery that runs down in a few days when using backlight. Then the keyboard takes overnight to recharge, after which it plays dead (completely unresponsive) and requires fiddling with the on/off and Bluetooth buttons... maybe better instructions would help. Durability is unknown since mine has never been packed or moved but already has problems with the keys. I certainly would not toss this into a laptop case and expect it to survive travel; this fact cancels one main advantage of the lightweight and compact case.I guess developing and manufacturing a good backlit keyboard is difficult. Sorry I spent the money on this one, but obviously it is fine for some other reviewers.

Disappointing
I've only been using it for a few days, but so far I'm pretty frustrated. The shift keys only work about 60% of the time, you really need to hit them right in the center of the key. Which is impractical when you're always pressing it while reaching for another key.The back light also sucks. I was using it for a grand total of 6 hours, and the back light dimmed, indicating it needed to be charged. I feel really misled by the "3 month battery life" claim (the back light battery is separate.)It's also really annoying that the back light turns off after 30 seconds of not typing. I'm constantly needing to wake it up before I can see what I'm doing. ("A battery saving feature" 🙄) If you want it to remain backlit, you can plug it in with the frustratingly short cord, which defeats the purpose of being wireless. And I just had one of the keys stick pretty bad.I've had cheaper keyboards perform much more reliably.

Enjoying the keyboard with a couple glitches
I purchased this keyboard because it was the only keyboard I could find on Amazon that had the criteria I wanted: Bluetooth, backlighting and included a number pad. It has worked well for me so far (about 3 weeks), but I have encountered a few irritations: the instructions make reference to a "backlight" key, but my keyboard did not have one. When I found their website I was fortunate enough to see a picture that included such a key. On my keyboard it was the "fn" key and it worked as if it was the backlight key. I am not sure if it was mislabeled or what. Not a big deal. The main irritations relate to connectivity and stuck keys; the keyboard occasionally will disconnect from my computer and I have to remove and re-pair in order for it to work again, even though my computer indicates it is still paired. I have it paired only to my computer, but it has the capability to pair to 4 different devices. I am not sure why it disconnects, but it certainly is not because it is connecting to another device. The other irritation is that keys will get stuck from time to time while I am typing resulting in a string of any given character. I Haven't figured out the reason for this issue yet, but it lasts for a few minutes at a time and is frustrating. For the money ($100) and more than twice the cost of any other keyboard I was considering (albeit without all my wants) I would not expect these issues.

It just works, battery life is great
Just like many others who bought this keyboard, I initially struggled to figure out what backlight key is (it's fn key), but other than that it works flawlessly. I paired this keyboard to two computers and my Android phone. After you press one of the pairing keys, there is no delay and I can start typing right away. Battery life deserves a special mention. I use the keyboard for at least several hours each day, and the battery last for at least three weeks. I cannot attest to the longevity of rechargeable battery since I've been only using it for a little more than one month. Keyboard itself is built of high quality plastic that does not feel cheap, and it's comfortable to type. If you are looking for a full keyboard with bluetooth and backlight, this is definitely the way to go.
