If your a family of 4 this set is small in my opinion. Perfect for 1 or 2 people. Light weight but Im sure they make lighter for backpacking. Probably more for car camping. Thin metal, not a thick cook even bottom. I returned these to get a different set. That I love. But it has more weight and is large.If your looking for 2 people and light weight plus quick cooking these will do. :-)Lost a star, cause I thought the handles could be improved upon. I have not used these yet but they seem sturdy with good handles. They are a good size for me.

Used this on our last camping trip 2 weeks ago and worked well. Our campsite had a fire ring which had a grill on the backside that we put the pots over a open flame. The water heated up very quickly to our surprise. Our only concern was the outside of the pot started to turn black, however that had no effect on the pot. We used it a number of times to make hot chocolate, teas, and coffee during our 3 day trip.

This item is advertised as stainless steel but it is not marked anywhere. I don’t really think this is stainless steel.L. I am returning item.
