APCC 3/16" x 500 FT. Shock Cord - BLK

How excited can you get about 3/16" bungee / shock cord? Not sure it matters but this stuff really did the trick on my anti-gravity lounge chairs that we bought from Lowes about 3 years ago. I bought the 500' roll to be safe, and have about 400' left over after completing 4 chairs.IMPORTANT: unstring one side of your chair, then measure carefully as your mileage may vary...In our case the chairs had the metal t-bars crimped on the ends, but I couldn't find them anywhere. Instead I ordered a bulk pack of barrel shaped cord locks (the spring-loaded things you compress to open the hole, then let go and it binds your shock cord). Eight barrel locks per chair at 30 cents each. Worked like a charm.I recommend that you to leave half of the chair intact when restringing, so you have a reference for the stringing pattern to follow, and it makes the process easier that way too. Altogether I spent on average about 50 minutes per chair in the entire process - unstringing, cutting the lengths, and restringing the chairs.Hope this helps you other Amazonians, it is way better than buying 4 new $100 chairs!

nice product and it holds up outside and lasts for almost five years

I used this to make webbing on the front and back of my two kayaks. It worked great laced through eyelets I put in with rivets. It also came in handy to re-lace the cabbalas lounge chairs that recline back. It is a little spongier then the original material used to hold the seat in place, but it is sturdy enough to handle it.

I was in need of a high quality bungee cord for a project of mine and am glad I came across this particular shock cord. Previous experiences with similar cords were disappointing as the cord tended to lose it's elasticity quickly but I am very satisfied with the "memory" that this shock cord possesses. It just has a high quality stretch and feel to it and is perfect for my application. I will definitely be purchasing more in the future as is needed.

I've been paying over a dollar a piece for replacement tarp bungies (the ones with the palstic balls on them) for years, and I ahve a crate of the plastic balls that the cords wore out on. This is the right size to make new ones when I need them, adn I can make a bunch of others and pass them to friends or sell in a garage sale to recoup my cost.

Came on a role in a box, just as expected.Appears to be exactly as pictured and advertised.I bought this for use with multiple projects and it looks like it well made and should do perfectly.It is a bit stronger / harder to stretch than I expected. Which is a good thing.I would recommend this product and seller.

A little thicker then I needed but it is well worth the price to re-lace 2 gravity chairs. To re-lace the chairs I would get the next smaller size. Plenty left over for more chairs and projects. Handy to have around.

Good quality shock cord and the price was very reasonable. I am completely restringing 2 outdoor lounge chairs that cost me $129.00 each and the elastic cord they came with has deteriorated from uv exposure, so this is a no brainer fix.
