Not impressed
We have had it up less than 12hrs and it has already lost suction and fallen twice!

I like these blowers
I like these blowers. I have 4 in my salt water aquarium and they work great. Only thing is I wish it was the magnetic one instead of the suction cup one. Its so much easier to use than having to stick your hand in the tank everything to move it. I would order this again just the magnetic one next time.

The suction pad doesn't last
The pumps performance created the desired affect in my tank. I order two of these pumps and installed them in my tank, and though they pump the way I expected, the suction cups that adhere them to the inner wall of the tank, both failed within a day of each other, after only holding for a month. In addition to failing, one of the suction cups broke when trying to re install. I would recommend purchasing those pumps with magnetic installation.

Noisy
Price is great but once arrived you will understand why it’s so cheap. It’s very loud in the tank with its humming. And I thought for the size I could stir up the entire bottom of my 75 gallon tank. Creates water circulation if that’s what your looking for. Also it’s a large object in general.

for the money its still a pretty good unit
moves a lot of water. suctions to the glass well, only complaint is it rattles on plugging it in sometimes. have to plug and unplug till it starts up quietly. for the money its still a pretty good unit.

Do Not Buy!
If you are thinking about purchasing this item, think again. The powerhead is cheaply made with Micky Mouse plastic and a overall bad design making it difficult to clean and maintain. I read another post about how the powerhead electrocuted his fish and after examining the power cord leading into the component I can see why. As far as the amount of water the powerhead moves, it only seems slightly stronger than my Hydor rated at 800 gph. Lastly, the suction cup is a joke and does not hold. Do yourself a favor and keep on looking!
