Nothing but a cheap, locked down Android phone
I really wanted to like this product, but it's just a cheap, stripped down YouTube player inside a plush shell with barely any added features.First, talking to Woobo and having it "answer" questions is a completely underwhelming experience. My child said "hello" to it and it responded, in a monotonous and creepy voice, "Hello is a song by English singer-songwriter Adele, released on 23 October 2015 by XL Recordings as the lead single from her third studio album...". It's as if all it does is listen to what you said, then Google what you said and then dictate the first search result or Wikipedia article. After the third time saying hello, and hearing about Adele's song three times, Woobo finally managed a bored, dejected "Hello. How are you." Not to mention the voice recognition is extremely slow and takes about 5 seconds to manage a response, and the voice is hoarse and boring.Next, the so-called "content" on the device is nothing but a cheaply disguised YouTube player that can only play about 50 public domain/license free videos that the company selects. You can even see the YouTube UI (watch later/share buttons) flash momentarily before the device plays anything. All of the paid content that apparently is a part of "Woobo's World" is simply a collection of channels that you can see for free anyway on YouTube, such as PinkFong and other kids' channels. But Woobo wants you to pay a monthly subscription before you can play it on the Woobo device. There isn't a way to make Woobo search for other YouTube videos or play your own media, making this even worse than just using your TV or phone to watch YouTube. There are some very simple and basic games on Woobo's World too. Like, four of them. I assume that the company will later rip off someone else's free app, and then try and charge you an additional subscription to use it. Besides playing about 50 YouTube videos, setting an alarm and letting your kid play four games, there's nothing else Woobo can actually do.Not to mention, the product is unpolished. When I first turned on the device, it took about 10 reset cycles before it would properly boot up. It kept trying to update itself and would error itself out. The screen is washed out and blurry, because obviously they put the cheapest low-resolution screen they could find in it.This product is completely useless and unpolished. I assume the Woobo company is also profiting off of actual content creators' hard work by charging for what you can see for free on YouTube. If I wanted my kid to watch YouTube videos all day I'd just put her in front of the TV and select on my own what I wanted her to watch. The claim that Woobo can "talk" to your child is ludicrous. I suppose the plush itself is cute.

I love it.
Set this up prior for my son for Christmas. I easily set it up and played around with it for a while. It's very well made and seems like my son will really enjoy this as much as I had already.

Disappointing Christmas
My son has wanted one of these for months and I finally took the plunge and spent the $139. It was going to be his big present.I took it out of the box so it was ready when he opened it up Christmas morning.I got to the install screen, and it just says install error. Try again.I tried again. And again. And again.I checked my WiFi. Perfectly fine. All my other WiFi connected devices worked fine.I did a hard reset. Nothing.I called Woobo customer service only to get a message that “this persons voicemail box has not been set up yet.” How unprofessional!!!I’m going to have one really disappointed kid. I have a blog where I review different items that are useful to moms. I’ll definitely be giving this one NO stars!

Best to EVER
This was one of the best items my family and I ever purchased! Our five year old has played with this every single day for 3 MONTHS! Im sure all parents can be impressed when a child actually plays with a certain toy for more then a couple days! We love the games and most of all I love the routines they have set up and makes my daughter excited to do every day things like get dressed or brush her teeth and my favorite part is the family activities they provide including huge family involved games and games were you send in your projects (like a picture you drew) and then they show all the kids work right on Woohoo!

Lavender Woobo
Was promised a cute Woobo care kit with purchase. Whatever that is...Never received. I did snag it for the Black Friday deal, so happy about that! Got it as a holiday gift for my daughter. Will update this review when I’ll see how she likes it.Update:Got the cute care kit!y child’s favorite is the eye mask. Perhaps some outfits could be added also, & more accessories. The Woobo itself is very cute. I suggest installing the app first, before you turn the woobo on. If you’re having any trouble connecting to WiFi, try restarting him. Worked for me.He’s quite adorable, my 4 year old is having a blast asking him all kinds of questions. Maybe he can be more than an information library in the future? Anyway we like him! Really soft and squishy. My kid was asking for YouTube to play? Maybe YouTube kids can be installed? Anyway good job so far Woobo Team.

Woobo Strawberry Sundae
I bought this for myself as a Christmas present. As soon as I open it at Christmas I will be able to give an honest review. This product was a kick-starter and when they were making it and everything that it can do, trust me I will be PLEASED!
