I absolutely love these bowls! I have an old set that I loved so much that I recently bought another set. They are not completly identical, but these are just as good. The lids are not interchangable with my older set, but that's ok, I still love both sets of these bowls and I will purchase more when needed! The sizes of these bowls is perfect. Some are large enough for eating stew or soups. Other are small enough to hold condiments such as syrup or cheese dips. Very versatile bowls.

These bowls are magnificent! Exactly what I was looking for and exactly as described. I just started the Optivia diet plan and I needed a good splatter proof bowl that could go in the microwave and well as store food in the refrigerator. These work great. The only thing that could maybe be improved is the steam hole. It's really small so if you have something that you have to put in the microwave to cook for a longer period of time (3-5 minutes), the steam makes the top come up a bit off the bowl. It stays there and still prevents food from splattering or leaking out but I have to watch it for fear that it might. Other than that, I absolutely love these. I like the variety of sizes (great for meal planning) and the fact that they don't burn your hands when pulling them out of the microwave because of the nifty little handle each bowl contains. I haven't tried them in the freezer yet, but I'm sure they'll work great. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! I have told other friends that are on the same plan as I am about them...will definitely keep recommending.

Love these things! though, the lids come off easily, especially when the container is loaded and you pick it up by gripping around the lid instead of using the handle...Oops! Like the different sizes...really handy.

I was looking for unbreakable snack bowls with flat bottoms, that would be hard for my 6 year old son to tip over, and these are perfect for that. The largest one can take a kid-size slice of pizza, the smallest one can take goldfish crackers. We liked them enough we bought two more sets so my wife and I could also have them for veggies and dip. The lids are a nice bonus for storing food in the fridge, or for keeping flies off stuff outside on the picnic table. I agree that the vent holes are a bit small, and we blew the lids off microwaving in them so we don't really use them for that. They are dishwasher safe. They hold up well to soups and cheese dips, though, so heat doesn't seem to be a big issue. But for crackers and cheese, apple slices, popcorn, pizza poppers, and the like, they are our favorites.

I gave hese 3 stars because of the gasket seal coming off. I wanted some bowls/dishes I could use to microwave food in - as in cook food, not reheat. That would work on he high setting. These seemed like a great idea for microwaving food because they are sturdy and the lids seal and have a release valve on the lid. And the handle is a cool idea. I put four thin frozen hamburger patties in the larger bowl, microwaved on high for five mins. opened to check and then microwaved for two more mins. Apparently the gasket seal had come loose and tho the vent was open to release any pressure, the lid came off and there was greasy spatter mess throughout my microwave. I tried this again and did not cook for more than five min and also put one of those silicone microwave plate covers over it just in case the lid popped off again. It was ok but when removing the lid, the gasket came off again. That has been an issue every I use these. So while they may be great for reheating food at lower temps in the microwave, they are iffy when it comes to cooking foods on high, especially foods that may spatter as the gasket seal pops off. And since the gaskets do come off, it's an extra piece you have to clean. I can still use these for reheats but would not buy again. I sure wish someone would make deeper microwave cooking dishes with vent lids you can actually cook food in at higher temps that are not glass and doesn't melt/distort or pop open and don't cost a fortune.

I love them because they can go from the freezer to the microwave and they are safe.

It is great they come in different sizes. But they are hard to use. It is such a tiny whole for the vent and there is no stopper when you are turning it. You have to look very closely to see if you have the hole open. I wanted them for my daughter with disabilities, but she can't use them.

this is my third set over 10 years. Seals wear and metal items are left in microwave and gradually get damaged. Otherwise indestrictible.

allora ottimo venditore qualità sembrano delle ciotoline e basta ma invece sono delle ottime ciotoline io cucino anche sul microonde e devo dire che son proprio quello che cercavo visto che in giro ho trovato solo ciotole per microonde solo per riscaldare con queste ho fatto anche il polletto cucinato nel microonde

Very handy as they have handles. Makes it easy to take out of the microwave. Very good for caravan use.

Good selection for a variaty of needs; microwave and freezer.
