ACDelcoGold 335-1212 Alternator

Considering the price, this is the only way to go. These brand new alternators cost less than rebuilds at the local Eurozone and O'Reilly.The only negative was the packaging. Amazon has some really stupid people working in their warehouse. The manufacturer's box was placed inside another box, which was long/wide enough to hold two alternators. There was no damage to the alternator but the manufacturer's box did take a beating as it bounced around inside the Amazon's box.Voltage is 14.2. I am not sure about amperage as I have not checked it, but everything in the truck is working fine.Added bonus, as this is a new alternator, I don't have to deal with core issues.I am even thinking of disassembly of the old alternator and repairing it, if I find what the problem is. If I cannot, taking it to a shop that rebuilds them. There is one locally that does it for about $80. May be a good option to have a spare on hand.

The shipping was fast but the package was really beat up as you can tell by the photos. The 2 pictures of the voltage on my monitor were taken at idle the first is with the original Alternator and the 2nd with the new Alternator.Was easy to install took about 30 minutes and that included getting the tools. There are some good videos on You Tube so will not get into that.Really notice the difference on how it charges the batteries. So far really satisfied but then only had the Alternator for about a week so will update if any updates needed.So far believe it was a smart decision to upgrade.

I didn’t buy a used alternator, but that’s what was in the box when I opened it.

Fixed my problem with every light on and in my truck from dimming and brightening every single second, almost drove me nuts driving at night. Perfect fit for a 2007 Ford F350 6.0L Dually.

Works good charges fine on a Powerstroke.

Try to go to any auto parts store and get this price on an ACDelco Alt... Not happening. Product as described. Works great, no issues at all. Bolted right into my 05 Superduty Powerstroke 6.0L. Very happy with this purchase. Yes, there are some cheaper alternatives to this one, but ACDelco electrical parts are the way to go.

I purchased this alternator because it was a name brand I recognized. Easy to install and solved the problem I was having. I would definately purchase it again.

After 2 months on the truck it started putting out over 16 volts
