A must for changing shocks!!! saved time and money!!!
best tool I have ever purchased, The right tool makes all the difference in the world! this took off the strut nuts with ease, It saved so much time in fact it took me longer to break the rust seal off the wheel and drum then it did to replace the shocks! This tool is worth every penny and is built very well will last for ever!

Great tool for shop absorbers
A bit confusing to use at first, but makes it really easy on domestic shock absorbers as no other tool fits nicely on them. A must have if you routinely work on domestic.

Not universal
Didn't fit for a 2004 Silverado 2500

Great product
Made removing shock absorbers so much easier, only issue is that it came slightly rusted, may have been sitting for a while and caught moisture. Overall a great product

Nice Design But Too Tall For 2014 Toyota Tundra Rear Shock Absorbers
As everyone knows, getting the top nut off a shock absorber can be a real pain. I bought this in preparation for changing the rear shock absorbers on my 2014 Toyota Tundra. While the tool appears to be of high quality and a good design, I was unable to use it because there was not enough clearance above the shock absorber for this to fit. Rather than return it, I will save it for a future vehicle. Thankfully, I sprayed the top nut on each shock absorber numerous times over a couple weeks with PB Blaster and wire wheeled the exposed portion of the threads prior to starting the project. This extra bit of preparation did the trick and the nuts came off fairly easily. My truck spent its life in Central Illinois until moving to West Michigan last winter so it is no stranger to road salt.
