Airtex E7040M Fuel Pump Module Assembly

Three years in service and like all the others it gets noisy, and then the cranking time starts going up and up and up... The ethanol in gasoline does nothing besides make certain groups happy and ruin alot of parts. This fuel pump lasted even less time that the prior one and that one did not last as long as the one before it.. see the trend here. I would assume the mfg would be applying the technological updates to older application parts where possible and not keep making this pump assembly with the same failure prone materials that do not survive in the cocktail of garbage called gasoline today. I guess not though. Denso is the currently installed unit maybe it will last longer.

Good brand and works well. Pressure is right where it should be.

Bought it, installed it no problems. MUCH MUCH MUCH cheaper than my local autozone or auto parts store.

I removed tank and replaced the pump and some rotten fuel lines in less than 2 hours. been working great.
