Hi, thank you for your question regarding the Bed Head Pixie 1/2" Straightener. This product is Dual Voltage and will automatically adjust to the proper voltage. In North America, connect the plug into any outlet. Outside North America, use a plug adapter attachment of the proper configuration for the appropriate power outlet. Thank you!

Temperature setting. How do you know what temperature you have it on? The dial has nothing to indicate it.

You will know when you turn it down to a lower temperature. There is a little light that will start blinking when get to the cooler temps. I have thick hair so I always keep mine on high. Its great for getting to shorter areas of your hair if your hair is short like mine. Give it a whirl, I think you will like it. Oh, one more thing, you might want to buy a silicone mat to lay the straightener on when its hot. I bought one, they are made for these products and it helps to keep your cabinet surface from getting burn spots. Hope this helps.
