Awesome toy
I purchased this toy for my son's 3rd birthday and I have no regrets. He absolutely loves it. He was able to hop on and make it work almost immediately, and he mastered steering within a few days. He now rides his "motorcycle" around the house everyday. It is the perfect size for him. It is light enough that when he gets stuck and needs to back up he can just step off of it (or stand up), move it and keep going. The battery life is good too. He rides it quite a bit and we only need to charge it once a week or so.We have not taken it outside since it is winter and he is enjoying it so much indoors (on carpet and hardwood floors). But, I think it would do great in the yard or on the sidewalk.I'd recommend this little vehicle. It provides hours of entertainment for our little guy--it's worth every penny.

Great toy for a 1 year old boy
This toy is great for larger kids. If he's off the chart or over 90% in height and weight, he'll be able to use this toy without too much trouble at his first birthday. Smaller children may have to be 18 months old, and most girls will need to be at least 2. The issue is physical strength and balance. It takes some strength to "push the button" and some upper body capability to hang on for the ride and the inevitable collisions! It took my grandson a few tries but he loves it. Other boys tried it at the party, but the girls clung to their Daddies. It is not necessary for a boy to walk to use this toy. They can easily crawl over to it, climb up and on, and go. The speed was faster than I expected at a full charge, The first few times it is ridden you will need to have someone making sure the driver doesn't fall off, and to demonstrate the button. They get the idea to "hold on" quickly, pushing the button comes next, and then bad boy has wheels!By 2 years any child should be able to use this toy. The issue quickly becomes keeping the larger kids from destroying it. Its the kind of toy every kid gravitates too, so don't be surprised when your 5-8 year old wants to ride. So far it has survived, which is a good indication of its construction.I was surprised at the small battery, but power consumption and capacity is about right for low mass riders. A larger child will drain the battery faster. I had fully charged the battery prior to the party and completed the assembly, using the larger box Amazon ships the original carton in to hold the finished toy, complete with decals. This was a big mistake because larger siblings of some guests, well over the weight limit, became uncontrollable.Better to use the original box, and let the parents control things after the sugar induced party crowd has moved on.The directions are simple. You will need two screwdrivers and the pictures on the box to put it together (helpful for decals). Assembly took about 30 minutes (decals took the longest), and you need to charge the battery 12 hours before the first use according to the instructions. It would be helpful if the battery charger had its own connection point which did not require disconnecting the motor, but I understand the issue of junior getting on while its charging and ripping the guts out. On the other hand, a hidden DPDT switch would be very helpful and could disable the run button. The electrical connectors used are fairly rugged. If you can control the larger kids and keep them off, this toy would last through several children (probably replacing a worn out battery). Good luck with that though because every visitor who can sit on it will. A weight interlock would prevent this, but at some point it ceases to be a toy and becomes a Chevy.

Awesome! Bought this for a friends granddaughters first birthday
Awesome! Bought this for a friends granddaughters first birthday. She's slowly getting used to it and should be a pro by summer! Arrived on time, all pieces were present, took about 20 minutes to assemble and place stickers. Looks great and she loves it! Perfect for those little ones that aren't ready for a more powerful and larger quad. Great starter quad! Really well built. Speed is slow enough to not injure if there was a bump or fall off yet fast enough to make it fun and keep them interested. Would definitely buy another one. Highly recommend.

Great little car. Good battery, can hold two little kids.
Really great little vehicle. Little one loves it, and so do kids 5+, though it's comical to watch them try and fit in it. Battery lasts a long time. Strong enough to hold two kids, because two will always want to get on at the same time. Not that they both really fit, but the car keeps moving with them both in it. Works indoors on hardwood floors too though it slips a bit before it gains traction. Yes, that probably scratches the floor up a bit, but I can't see anything, and it saves me having to go outside.Kid lost interest after a while, so taking a star off for that.

Son loves it! Battery is terrible.
You have to charge the battery 18 hours before you can use it(that is my only reason for 4 stars)! So that stunk on Christmas Day when my son opened it. He is still a bit young for it but when it moves it puts a HUGE smile on his face! I cant get the battery to keep charged. It goes dead after a couple of minutes of my son using it. As of 4/17/17 it doesn't hold a charge longer than 30 seconds. Wouldn't buy this.

Great Riding Toy
This was purchased as a gift for my 14 month old grandson. He simply loves it. Once showed how to power it, he was off and going. The push control power button is very easy for him to use. It has quite a bit of power and running outside doesn't seem to be a challenge for this bike. Other reviews I've read mentioned the foot rests being too small, which I didn't find to be true. This toy is meant for very young children and I believe this will be a good all round "fit" as far as size for at least a couple of years. Also, I was a bit concerned about battery life when I first purchased this, but I charged the battery for 24 hours before it was first used and it lasted for days of operation. Overall, I am very happy with this little bike.
