I use this product to cover my winter garden - carrots, lettuce, spinach, beets, kale, mache - in Cincinnati, OH, zone 6. Spread over plastic hoops and secured to the ground with ground staples, it does very well at keeping things just warm enough to survive. Last winter I did lose the lettuce when we had a week below zero, but other crops made it through - and so did this fabric! Three years ago I tried using some cheap off-brand stuff and halfway through the winter the wind had ripped it to shreds. By spring it was completely disintegrated. In contrast, some of this cloth has made it through 2 winters - hard winters - no problem and I plan to use it again. I don't leave it laying around when it is not in use - UV will kill anything eventually - but I am very pleased with it so far and am back to buy more.

These are my go to frost clothes when I need more. They are absolutely thick and durable. They do not tear at all if you are using them for normal garden applications. They are sewable (no issues) if you needed to do that.

I am amazed with this material. I live in zone 7 and I tried to plant citrus in the ground. I used this material to cover my citrus trees in the ground all winter (with some heating lights inside). All my trees survived and looked healthy under this cover. Highly recommended!

bought these to place over seed beds on a couple cold days this spring, kept all seedlings alive during freezing temps over three nights and as a plus enough light gets thru they are still able to grow and thrive in cold spring temps.

Quality material and it protected our plants through the winter. A must have for delicate plants. Awesome!
