Brilliant product for getting your cat to take pills
This pill giver for cats is excellent. I have had it before from the vets but they had none on this occasion so ordered it from this seller on Amazon. I needed it quickly after vet visit and true to their word it was with me the following day.It is so easy to give pills this way rather than stressing the cat out by shoving tablet down their throat or with those plastic pill poppers that use syringe with water to get it down and risk injuring their throat. It obviously tastes great and our cat loves it. You only need to break bits off and squeeze it around the pill. It saves you losing a finger or two or getting scratched lol. I highly recommend it.

Small but mighty big life saver!
Firstly, my only "con" is that you don't get a lot for the price, I may get back to this to update but I estimate this 4x 10g is going to last me approx 4-6 weeks to give my cat her meds twice a day which is going to add up over time.Having that said...I am more than happy to pay the price for the ease with which she's now taking her tablets! It was stressful and time consuming, I tried to hide within food but she got wise to that very fast, leading to me having about 3 or 4 different flavours of cat food/treats open at any given time in the hopes to distract using flavours.Always having to sit and watch her eat to make sure it had been taken or not (time consuming especially on busy mornings).Resorted to using a pill popper on occasion which was stressful and unenjoyable for her and me.She is now happy to take her meds just wrapped in this like they're a treat. It's a small bit of extra faff to wrap each tablet but still far quicker than having to supervise her meals and then manually give it to her if she'd "eaten around" it.It's easy to use, just tear off then mush a pea-ish size portion to soften it and then wrap around tablet.I have bought the single packet (1x 10g) in the past for my other cat for a short term need and from that experience I am glad it is in small packets, any larger than 10g and I think it would likely lose its texture before you've finished it (it goes oily and overly soft although still usable but I'm not sure of shelf life once open?).My little lady cat is now on long term medication however so I don't forsee it not getting used up in time. I use a peg to fold it closed.I'm very very glad this product exists, and I pray my cat continues to like the flavour, I do wish that you got another packet or two more for the price though as its not cheap considering what it is.Definitely worth a go if you're struggling with giving cat meds. I have not had a cat refuse it yet, admittedly I have only had to give 3 cats medication, and only one of those on a multiple times a day schedule. I think that's still a decent acceptance rate though!

Really works!
This really does work. Entrusted it to dose our fussy cat with tablets costing £6 apiece so no room for a refusal!

This product is really helpfull and has taken out much of the stress out of giving medication
This product is really helpfull and has taken out much of the stress out of giving medication. The cat absolutely loves the taste of it and reacts like it’s a treat, although towards the end of the medication course we struggled a little , but overall well worth the investment and giving it a try.

It is very easy!
My cat is a rescue and even the vet struggles to get a tablet into her. So when she was recently prescribed tablets for the rest of her life my heart sunk. She needs to have 2 tablets a day. Without this Easy Pill product i honestly don't know how i'd manage it. When i received the product I gave her a little taste before i tried her with it wrapped around the tablet, she loved it and asked for more! Using the product to wrap the tablet is so easy, and my cat just thinks its a treat so it must taste good. You just break a bit off, squash and flatten it between your fingers and then wrap the tablet, it's so easy to use. Depending on the size of the tablet, you'll probably get between 8 and 10 helpings out of each little packet (each bag contains 4 individual little packets) It's a little bit of trial and error with how much to use at the start. I use as little as possible so it just covers the tablet.I offer my cat 1 of her normal treats first then give her the wrapped tablet. I have to use this method because i have more than 1 cat and the youngest doesnt miss a thing, she always joins in with 'treat' time. The product is chicken flavoured so it may not be to every cats taste. I have 3 cats, 2 love it but 1 isnt interested at all, he also doesnt really like cooked chicken or chicken treats. However if your cat does enjoy chicken definitely give this product a go, it's a lot easier and less stressful for the cat and human!

Not quite enticing enough, but still useful!
Like most people, after a couple tries of eating this, my cat was no longer interested and actively turned her nose up. On its own, at least for my cat, it's just not enticing enough. (of course, this varies from cat to cat). The putty lasts an extremely long time if you have small pills and only pill your pet a couple times a day. However, it's extremely easy to mould around pills and disguises bitter pills with ease. You don't need much per pill. We get out pet food from a company called KatKin and they frequently send chicken flavoured sprinkles - which my cat goes absolutely crazy for!We coat the pills in Easypill putty, then coat it in the katkin sprinkles and my cat actually anticipates and gets excited for pill time! This product has been extremely helpful and we're now able to medicate our cat with ease, however on it's own it wasn't quite palatable enough for her and we have to use a secondary product to make it taste good enough.Overall, I absolutely recommend giving this product a try even if you have to coat it in something or add something to it to get it just right :)
