Worth the money
I bought this to replace a system that I have had for a long time, but had a cartridge crack. My son purchased this system recently for a salt water setup and because of his experience with it, I bought it.It was super easy to install. It fits under the sink well.I have had no leaks. The clear cartridges are nice to keep an eye on the filter conditions. The biggest thing for me- the water tastes better than my old system ever did, even when it was new. I can't even put into words how much better the water tastes.

Excellent RO system
I have ordered thousands of items from Amazon over the years. This was the BEST equipped item I have ever seen. It came with a thorough instruction package, including a full diagram, booklet, and pamphlets. In addition, the kit included tubing, valve, wrenches, just incredible. I needed a system that did not have a faucet or tank since I already had those items and I just needed to replace the reverse osmosis filtering system. It installed easily and all the connections worked the first time. After reading through everything a couple times I think it took about 30 minutes to install to my faucet and my storage tank. Flawless, great product, thank you. The water tastes great and there is plenty of water pressure.

Great system!
This system works great, and I love the see through filter holders. I had recently bought a new tank for my old RO system, so this one being sold without a tank worked perfect for me.

Great filtration system
This is a very good deal it you are looking to give a total refresh to your RO filtration system.Everything is already assembled, and so for a fair price you are getting all new filters with transparent housing, etc.One important plus is that these new filter housings now have double o-rings, this really helps, and drastically reduce any chances of having water leaks.

Don't buy from this manufacturer
Don't buy from this manufacturer unless you want to replace wood floors and your the sink plywood! Here is why. Due to poor design the O-ring seals at the top of the filters leak intermittently. lJust a few months after purchase while still under warranty I noticed a slow leak from the top of the middle filter. I contacted the manufacturer asked about warranty return/replacement and all they did was send me a link of where to purchase a new O-rings. Thought that was pretty lousy response but, $14 later replaced the rubber O-ring that was leaky. Now it's off warranty by a few months and the unit leaked again but this time causing water to ruin my oak kitchen floors and the floor of the under sink cabinet. I couldn't find where the leak was from but ended up replacing our ruined wood at my expense. The unit was leak free for the past few weeks but just tonight I came home to the same issue. It happend again and water again flooded the newly replaced floors and cabinet. So this time I put the entire unit in a pan and watched it for a few days. I found a periodic leak coming from a different O-ring filter. Now I've got the same problem once again. I guess this unit is going to the dump but I wanted to warn everyone not buy this unit unless you want this kind of headache to happen to you.

Max Water RO
I’ve installed many RO’s and find that this 5 stage MaxWater RO quality is superior to many others. I especially like the double o ring on each canister. I truly recommend this product.

I like the clear filter housing so I can see when change is needed.
It was easy to install. Be sure to tighten up the filters. One was loose and leaked. I replaced a 15 year old with 2 filters with this one. Our water comes out of a river and I'm concerned about weed killer and other contaminates from farm runoff. 🚜

Requires extended flush time on first startup.
I'd like to point out that I am not a new user to Reverse Osmosis filtration. I have extensive experience in this arena. I purchased this unit only because the housings on my 15 year old drinking system was starting to show its age. Overall, the housings, and packaging seem to be of good quality. Fittings are nice and everything is leak free. The trouble I had with this system was the extended flush time required with the RO Membrane. RO Membranes (what actually produces the clean water and the heart of the system) come vacuum sealed from the manufacturer with an anti-microbial agent that preserves the shelf life of the filter. For a typical membrane this takes about 3 gallons to flush it out. Without adequate flushing, the water will smell and taste like sulfur. The one supplied with this system took 24 hours (50 gallons) to flush out the smell. I contacted the seller about the issue who responded that it's not possible for it to produce this smell and that it must be my source water. I replied with a water quality report as well as the technical explanation for why this was happening to which I got no response or resolution. If you are not aware of this and set the system up to run through the taste filter, you are likely to not notice the foul water. That said, it is not harmful, though you should flush your first tank full of water to remove as much chemical as possible. I ended up replacing the membrane with a Filmtec 50GPD unit, which has produced better water. In the end, I still think the cost of the unit and the quality of the housings make for a good buy, just be weary of the membrane flush time.
