UGREEN Protective Case Compatible with Nintendo Switch, Dockable Grip Case Cover Protector Accessories Anti-Scratch Shock-Absorption

Got this grip case for my son and the orzly grip case for myself. The orzly case is a bit thicker so more comfortable to hold and offers more protection but does not dock and remove case to get to joycon a is a pain. This on the other hand docks well (I assume you have a tempered glass screen protector if not get one) and joycon are removable without taking the case off. Also fits in the Tomtoc travel case so I assume it will fit in there slim as well but have not tested that. It’s a bit snug in the tomtoc travel case but as the top compartment is so large it has ample room. I have not had any extended playtime with it yet as it is a present for my son but I had to test drive everything for him ;)

I tried the Skull & Co. grip case before this one and it was rubbish. The feel was horrible and I hated how the shoulder buttons are covered so they're harder to press.Pros:Simple design.Nice feel and grip.Still fits in my small protective zip case.Cons:Can be a bit snug in the dock so make sure you have a screen protector just in case.My Bluetooth adapter doesn't fit properly in handheld mode but I just need to trim off about 1mm from the bottom of the case around the USB C port to make it wider.

Not a bad grip by any means, it provides comfort and a good base for handheld mode. It's snug and feels sturdy without feeling too hard in the hand. The issue is that it does not comfortably dock. There's probably a millimetre in it, but you do need to force it on a touch more than I'm comfortable with. I much prefer sitting it on its stand and charging it that way. I have no issues with the release buttons on the joycon, but I can understand why people have cut them, as it is a bit tough to push them in. My only gripe is the docking, however as I tend to play handheld anyway, it's not the biggest issue in the world, but it's enough to mark down as this is one of the reasons I bought it, as I like to dock my console overnight, or if I'm Angelo grinding.

The case does the job and makes gripping the console easier, but you can't take the joy-cons off with the case on because it covers the release buttons.

Perfect case for the Nintendo switch.. the case is easy to put on and take of.. its great because you don’t have to remove the case to dock the switch.. amazing value

Thought this was great value for money and liked the fit and that can take JoyCons out. But doesn't work docked which is what I got it for. Doesn't connect image.

mine arrived today, the sealed box was open, it could be a delivery issue or it could be i was sent someone's return without properly reseal.the grip itself is not made from one piece of material like the images might suggest. the joycon handle on each side is glued onto the middle plastic piece.the quality of the product is acceptable, and im sure it will protect your switch from minor drops and scratches. but the 2 major selling points of this product are not met:1. you can dock your switch with the grip on, BUT it will not fit into place, it will not charge the switch. if you pressure down your switch into the dock, the dock will have a steady green light, but will not recognise your switch being docked and charge it. if you press firmly down to dock your switch, be careful when taking it out of the dock, you need to use some force to take it out.2. you can take your joycon out with the grip on, but what other reviews fail to explain is that it is VERY VERY fiddly to take your joycon out this way, almost to the point of why bother.if you are buying this for the dockable and removable joycon feature, i would suggest you look further. but if you are simply looking for a grip case to protect your switch, i think this will do fine. it feels good quality, it is comfortable to hold, it is thin, and the shoulder buttons are exposed which compare to other grip case of similar design, it is quite nice to be able to press L R without hindered by the case ridge.

Adds some extra comfort to your switch, as well as protection from drops and scratches. The Material on the joycons is slightly different to the main body. Switch still fits in the dock and I have no doubts my screen is still safe from scratches. Still fits in my carrying case too.

My Switch can be docked very snugly with the case on. I have the Orzly glass screen protector and I don't have any issues.It definitely feels better playing handheld now.It fits well in the Orzly case as well.I do have to agree with the others that the Joy-Cons are slightly harder to remove now, the rubber covering the unlock button is quite stiff.For $16, I believe it's a good ratio of quality:price.

Sitter som den ska, hyfsat lätt att ta av joy cons och utseendet ser bra ut, men två saker man behöver tänka på är att greppen för joy cons blockerar en av usb portarna på dockstationen och så sitter Switchen en aning tajt i dockstationen.

Honestly, this is much higher quality than I expected. I thought the grips would be squishy, but they're not; they're slightly flexible, but not squishy.It's easy to snap on and off, but you should never need to, because the Switch fits perfectly in the dock while it's on. It even fits in the carrying case I have (Hestia brand) without having to remove it.As others have said, the buttons to release the joycons are a bit hard to press under the button covers (not sure what else to call them) on the grips. Not impossible or anything, just enough to be annoying. So I actually used an old pair of cuticle scissors and cut out the little spots on the grips that cover the release buttons. Now I have no problem with them at all.Overall, it's a great, inexpensive case/grip that protects the switch from scratches, makes the joycons more comfortable and sturdy in handheld mode, fits well in the dock, and should even fit inside a decently-sized carrying case.

Eigentlich würde ich gerne 4.5 Sterne vergeben..Ich spiele fast ausschließlich im Handheld Modus, deswegen wollte ich ein Case was in erster Linie einen besseren Griff bietet. Was das angeht, erfüllt es definitiv meine Erwartungen.Die Verarbeitung ist gut und es ließ sich ohne Probleme anbringen.Es allerdings wieder von der Switch zu entfernen ist tatsächlich wie andere schon schrieben nicht so leicht.Auch das Entfernen der Joy Cons ist mehr schlecht als recht gelöst. Da die Knöpfe zum Lösen ebenfalls vom Case verdeckt werden, lassen sich diese sehr schwierig drücken. Ich ziehe das Case immer bis zu den Knöpfen runter um sie zu drücken... Bisher habe ich deswegen noch keine Schäden am Case zu vermelden, allerdings mache ich dies auch nicht oft, da ich wie gesagt meistens im Handheld Modus spiele.Die Konsole passt, auch wenn von anderen anders behauptet, ohne Verbindungsprobleme in die Docking Station. Man muss etwas drücken, aber man beschädigt damit absolut nichts.Preis-Leistung ist dennoch super, deswegen bin ich alles in allem zufrieden.

Un difetto della Switch è che in modalità portatile purtroppo dopo qualche ora di gioco (personalmente dopo poche decine di minuti) cominciano a far male le mani per via della posizione innaturale costretta a tenere per giocare: questa custodia risolve completamente il problema, con dei cuscinetti posizionati posteriormente che permettono di rilassare e impugnare in modo più naturale la console. In questo modo si potrà giocare per più tempo senza avvertire nessun tipo di dolore.Un GRANDISSIMO punto a favore di questa cover è che non è necessario rimuoverla per inserirla nella dock! Da quando l'ho acquistata, non l'ho mai rimossa se non pulirla. stesso discorso per i joycon, possono essere rimossi senza problemi in quanto la custodia non li avvolge anche superiormente.Oltre alla comodità, la trovo elegante con un colore traslucido che non nasconde la scocca della console. il materiale è plastico e semi-rigido (come alcune custodie per cellulari, per intenderci), che permette di rimuoverla senza troppa fatica e senza rischiare di rovinarla.
