Borsari Panettone with Pistachio Creme, 1000g, Baked in Verona, Italy

My primary reason for purchasing this particular Panettone were the pictures of the creamy Pistachio filling, abundantly oozing out of the inside of the cake. Looked yummy. Much to my surprise/chagrin/disappointment there was practically none of this cream filling in the cake I received. What very little there was, had a vile green color & the consistency of a gelatin Jello, with no real Pistachio flavor. This may not matter to some people, but it did matter to me.

I bought this as my housemate has a thing for panettone. I wanted something different and unique to share.This took the cake.The pistachio cream was divine! Will order again next Christmas.

Not moist enough, too dry. It has a touch of pistachio taste, the creamy filling is very little at the bottom of the cake. The $7 panettone that I find in stores are much better than this one (moist and fluffy) this panettone is not fluffy at all. Don't waste your money.

I love Borsari. I used to live close to this bakery and I can affirme that it is nothing in comparison what they offer in their store. Unfortunately, I bought a dried panettone, and I could not feel the pistacchio in side.

Simply the best flavor of all the Panettone. Pistachios plus pistachio creme. Direct from Italy, Consume immediately.
