Excellent product
I had a bolt break on my engine block. I needed to make a hole in the bolt stud so that I could use a bolt extractor bit. This center drill bit cut the bolt stud like butter and gave me a perfect hole for the extractor.

Disappointed: I was looking forward to receiving these because ...
Disappointed:I was looking forward to receiving these because center drill sets made from M42 cobalt are not easy to find. I first tried to use the No.1 size but it seemed to want to wander off center. I removed it from the chuck and studied the end and was surprised to find that the ground angles were incorrect. On one end, the angle appeared to be correct with the left side sloping downwards. On the other side, the left side was higher than the right hand side. I checked the other end and it was the same. I checked the remaining center drills and all but one were the same. Only one center of the five was correctly ground on both ends. I cannot understand how they could pass quality control because the incorrectly ground angles are clearly visible. At this stage, I have not decided whether to return them or attempt to regrind the ends correctly. I may seek a price to have them reground rather than reground them by eye and then decide what to do with them.

A must have
Seem well made. I never had these before, now that i have used them, i wish i had bought them sooner. Straight holes with no skating.

Heavy and easy to use
Not a lightweight and stable in the tail stock when i need to start a hole. Good value for the money for me.
