This hammock is really something special
I don’t want to give an unnecessary story, but my parents take their nice trailer up and down the Oregon Coast at all times of year; and I bought this hammock so I would not have to bring a tent to visit them on a camping trip. First day I set it up was super simple. Hammock comes with everything you need to set up the rain fly and raise the mosquito net. Packaging was great when it arrived, and I love that there are separate bags for straps and cords, another for rainfly and stakes, and a larger one that packs everything neatly. Feels very organized. Super lightweight, but feels really durable. The rain fly is very well water-proofed and the seams sealed. I love the orange color.Took an extremely comfortable nap. My dad wanted to test it out too. Came back from his nap and told me HE WAS KICKING ME OUT OF THE HAMMOCK INTO THE TRAILER. My father spent the whole trip preferring the hammock, saying it’s better sleep than he’s had on a bed ever, and that his back and neck do not get stiff. Nights on the Oregon Coast get pretty chilly and wet (sometimes aggravating the soreness of old injuries), but he brought a sleeping bag into the hammock and says that the rain fly traps so much body heat that it is warmer that the trailer. Asked me if he could use it for their next trip a few weeks later.Next time I visited my parents, he is adding hooks to the ceiling of their guesthouse so he can buy the exact same hammock to use at home, only because my mother won’t let him replace their bed with hammocks.I have still not spent the night in it, but the few hours I got to try it were delightful. Of all the hammocks I’ve had, this one is especially comfortable. Really hoping to get my hammock back when my father gets his.

Good value buy
I took this hammock backpacking for a couple of days and it is fantastic. Really easy to set up and fairly comfortable. I slept very well in it. It was light in my pack and fit well once I took it out of the larger bag and fit the 3 smaller bags in my pack.

Double Check the Contents, But Good Stuff
So I took only this hammock out for the weekend and opened it and there was no straps... I should have opened it and made sure it was all there, but it said "COMPLETE PACKAGE" so didn't even occur to me. Had some ratchet straps in my vehicle so crisis averted. Sent an email, through Amazon, to the seller and they responded very quickly and were very willing to send me the missing straps and all... They sent it and it came a WEEK later. I pay for prime so obviously I have issues waiting for packages, but that's why I pay extra! They came, they look great, they work great. the adjustment buckle is a little strange but not a huge deal. hammock is decent. net seems good. haven't used the rain fly yet but looks good.

Bug net and rain fly is essential
I used this product to sleep on mount galstenbury in VT. I was the most excited I ever was to go to bed. The hammock was an easy set up except for the buckles. The buckle straps were looped incorrectly when delivered, but I was able to figure out the correct way. Two trees about 12 feet apart seemed perfect. The bug net and rain cover is a game changer. Highly recommend

Love it
Easy to setup and use, but the netting did rip getting in it, besides that minor thing worked great

Great Value/Beginners kit.
Comfortable hammock, great kit for the $$. Tarp is a little clunky, doesn't like to go back in it's bag, as it kind of sticks to the bag material as it goes in. Super simple to set up with the sliding tree straps and buckles. Zippered bugnet makes it awkward to hang out in without the net being used. Overall it's been a great hammock to try out hammock camping in, especially in Michigan.

Works exactly like they say it should.
I've used this for a few months now and I can say it is a great product. I feel like what I paid, three jacksons, was a great price for it. I've used it at the beach, the lake, and at home, all places in the rain and wind. It kept me dry and bug free every time. I don't have any complaints and would buy again in a minute.

I think they shipped me a used one. I will be returning it.
When I opened the box, there was none of the usual 'packaging' just everything stuffed into the carry bag (good idea and very convenient).I will be returning this. There are several problems:1) I strung the hammock up in the backyard and noticed the bug net was ripped near one end, and the stitching pulled away from the hammock at that end. I decided at that point to return it, but after my wknd trip. My other hammock's bug net was in rough shape after a few years, and I wanted the new bug net. Even ripped it would suffice.2) When I stuffed it back into the bag, I noticed a few pine needles. We have no pine trees in our backyard. I had hung the hammock between a willow and the kid's fort. The nearest pine tree is about 200ft away in a neighbor's yard and it was not a windy day. Weird.2) The straps were routed backwards through the clips. No big deal, and an easy fix but it just seemed odd.3) The hammock bag attached to the side barely made it through a 3 night backpack trip. By the end, the bag was frayed and torn and unusable and I ended up stuffing it into one of my drybags.4) The stitching was very low quality, with a lot of loose ends and stitches falling out.5) The hammock itself was fine and very comfortable.6) The design of the bug net and anchor points looks great on paper, and the material is awesome. But, when you lie in it, it closes up like a soft taco shell and the net hangs inches from your face. I've camped in hammocks for years and have never seen this type of failure. Still, a very comfortable sleep, and no bugs got through. I still had a great wknd at altitude, miles from any humans, even if I was woken up one morning, by a bear drinking very noisily from the lake 20 yds away. Who knew they were noisier drinkers than my dogs?
