This is just what I needed. It fits perfectly in my 5 oz. tuna cans, and I can squeeze every last drop of liquid out of the can. (My tuna cans are regular can-opener type lids - NOT pull tops.) But this also fits great in the 12.5 oz. chicken cans that do have pull tops. Highly recommend! Very sturdy - not flimsy. So easy to clean (rinse & dry for tuna in water or use a little dab of soap for cans with oil). [Note: I have not tried putting this in the dishwasher.]

This tuna presser is very easy to use and it makes draining the liquid out of the tuna fish cans as well as draining any liquids from any other cans. It’s very sturdy and well made.

I drained crushed pineapple for a recipe,inside the can and tuna for a salad over the can. Worked well both ways.

This is the best tuna strainer I've ever had - it easily and effectively presses out all of the liquid, is very sturdy and so easy to clean, whether by hand or in the dishwasher.

I bought this strainer because I recently bought the pampered chef can opener which does not allow me to use the top of the can to strain my tuna efficiently. This strainer worked perfectly and exactly as expected. It was easy to use and clean. I don't use canned vegetables but I did pick a can and checked that if I ever needed to flip it over and strain without pushing down it will work that way as well.
