great springs.this repair will require a long thin pin driver and a stable surface that will allow the pin to be removed via convincing force.the repair will require the latch assembly to be removed from the vacuum housing.If repairs are to bemade to the latch with the interlock safetey switch,make sure you replace the button in the latch assembly or the interlock will not function properly preventing the vacuum from turning on.total repair time is about 20 minutes.take time to clean the assembly and housing for a more successful repair.
