Fair Indigo Fair Trade Organic Princess Seam Pocket Dress

I love this brand- first bought a dress two years ago and now own more than 20 items.I'm 5'5", and since buying this brand have been a curvy 130-160 lb (baby weight). At 160 the M is a bit snug; definitely wearable with tights/leggings; better fit at a slightly smaller weight. The material is on the thicker side, good for fall/winter. A little more of a casual look than some of their clothes with almost a sweatshirty feel, but can be dressed up enough that I feel comfortable wearing to work (professor at a university).Color is true to the image.

Great dress! Fabric weight is perfect - not to bulky, not too thin. It's almost like French terry, but without the loops in the fabric. The fit is flattering: fitted but not clingy, it moves with you without losing its shape or bunching up. As another reviewer said, it's appropriate for the office, and you won't want to change when you get home! Launders well, too. I'm 5'4" so it hits just at/above the knee, and at 135(ish), the medium is ideal.

Great little black dress...fits fairly as expected, I might have been happier with one size smaller (5'6" and 135), but that was on me, as I should have trusted the measurements. It still looks good, skims nicely. Great fabric, very nicely styled. Perfect for so many occasions. Dress up or down , I do expect this will be a great travel piece as I see it traveling well. Very hefty feeling cotton. I would imagine a 3 season dress. Good length, right at the knee so it is actually a DRESS, not a hoped for dress that you have to find some way to hide the china! Would really love this in red!

This dress is great! It's so comfortable and was to wear. It's soft and a great length. I love the pockets!

After trying A LOT of simple black dresses, this one is absolutely perfect and just what I was looking for! The fabric feels a bit like a comfy sweatshirt, but it's substantial enough to hang nicely. As far as fit, its definitely not loose and "matronly", but also not too snug for this 55 year old, and it hits just above my knee (I'm 5'6"). I really love the neckline! I think it will work equally well with leggings as dressed up with boots and tights.

The cute of this dress is very cute and classic, but it (and most dresses made by Fair Indigo) runs very large. Their XS is like a small in most company dresses, so this one didn't fit me and there is no XXS option.

I usually wear an XL, (size 16) but this dress was too tight in an XL, and so I had to return it. I mean, it fit, but not in a flattering way. Too bad, because it would have been a favorite. Who doesn't love a comfortable pocket dress that looks just as appropriate at the office as the farmer's market?

This is a very cute dress. It would look better if I lost 10 pounds . . . . Seriously, the fabric is quality, it has great pockets, and it can go up (wear to work) or down (casual).
