Just be patient. I put two in my pantry cabinet, and it took a few weeks before it eliminated the strong odor. I don’t even know what is causing the odor, but it’s an old house, and maybe the wood shelving has absorbed different grain and pasta smells. At first I didn’t think they worked, but with time they do. I also used two in my linen closet, and have the same results, pleased with purchase. This is a real review as I am not part of any type of promotion.

Didn’t realize they were so small (should have read the description). They work great. No need to activate in the sun like the charcoal bags. Stuck one in the car and in the rooms around the house. They work great.

We like how these are packaged. They came in a box, where each one of these was sealed very tight in a heavy duty foil. That way you can open each one up one at a time, not wasting it while you wait to have a need for it. We put one in the fridge and stored the rest.I bought another brand before of charcoal ones, all eight came unsealed in one bag, much flimsier, and I felt like I had to use all eight of the other brand all at once. I also wondered how much they used up/absorbed in transit as the main bag had a hole in it.

After cleaning the refrigerator, freezer, drip pan and coils, the odor remained until we placed these packs into the refrigerator and freezer. In two to three days the odor was completely gone.

These things work perfectly in both the freezer and the refrigerator.
