Recovered Aged Rosewood Chinese Vertical Xiao Flute - Chinese Shakuhachi Wooden Bamboo-Flute (Key of F)

Came much earlier than expected.The flute looks amazing; the sound is very strong and very clear and has good timber tones.The only slight negative is that the case is shorter than the assembled length of the flute, and so you cannot store the flute in the case in an assembled state.Love it otherwise!!

If you ever get this stuck together don't force it. Put I little wd-40 in the crack where it separates let it soak in for a few minutes then take a hair dryer and heat up where the metal piece and separation crack are while rotating the flute until it's hot to touch. I used my hair dryer on high. Then wiggle or pull it loose it should separate easily without any damage. I contacted the seller who suggested the hair dryer and if there were any damages from trying to get it unstuck they would replace it no problem. I've never had such a great experience dealing with a seller or customer service ever. So helpful and polite. It's definitely worth it to buy from this company.

The vibrations coming out of the xiao is intense. Free flowing breaths. Notes coming from each holes has meditative qualities. Went into a trance of breathing and envisioning higher power. I can fly now! But only when I close my eyes and play the flute.Took a little bit of practice and some cannabis to relax my body enough to get use to playing. Once I got started playing in the right mood, I couldn’t stop. It was as if we are one and nothing outside of me matter.Also, I want to thank orientalmusicsanctuary for making a custom left-handed xiao (the pinky hole is on the left side) and shipping the flute to me within 3 weeks.
