Clear crisp picture quality.

So obviously I'm using it in a very non-standard unique way. The screen pivots up to the ceiling and latches. The purpose of it is for Blackout driving in my HMMWV. The 2nd pic is when I'm in Blackout mode. The lighting comes from the 850nm bulbs on the camera and a military grade 940nm 20" light bar. That's a screenshot from the video I made and posted to my YouTube channel showing it in action. The 3rd pic is from right after I got it all hooked up and running. I was testing latency which is a make-or-break with this type of stuff. I need a new windshield so that part of why you can't see the greatest through it, but you can see how well the camera and screen work.

A basic security monitor, easy to set up with good picture and audio quality. Note, the monitor has a built in power supply. This suggests it's overbuilt for 24/7 operation. I found the unit cool to the touch when checked. It came ready for VGA with cable included. The product information said it comes with an HDMI cable so I called customer support. They were very responsive and immediately sent the cable. I plugged it in, the monitor automatically switched from VGA to HDMI and all cameras popped up in the correct order. Be aware the monitor does not have a remote. Its been in use for over a month and I am satisfied with its performance.

Be sure to use the power supply and not old power supply if you had a monitor previously. We had issues with flashing, but "duh" when we used all the attachments that came with it, It works perfectly for my security cameras.

Easy to install - had to actually read the directors to change the input from default HDMI to the input needed. Little frustrating until I stopped and read the instructions. Monitor has good clarity and color retention. Using monitor for a stand alone analog cctv camera installation at garage entrance.

Replace old crt monitor in closed loop system on production machine. Works fine , easy to set-up. Only time will tell if it last long enough to justify the cost.

I have an older model of this very same monitor and all inputs work including the HDMI with sound. This newer model's HDMI input does not have sound. I tried various HDMI input sources, Sony Blue-ray, Fire Stick latest edition, and new HDMI cables but no matter what I do there is no sound. It appears the new model does not support the Audio Return Channel (ARC) feature. I did an Amazon exchange, and the second monitor has the same problem, no HDMI sound.

I have this connected from the second story of the house to the first floor with a 30' HDMI cable. Picture is as sharp as you could wish it to be. Note that picture quality depends a lot on the DVR and the quality of the cameras connected, so I have those in tip top form as well! This stays on 24 hours a day, so only time will tell how long it will last. I have it wall mounted with space behind, so if it needs ventilation it is getting it!
